I know there are quite a few traders here with Cowboy Cowboy Go Markets...

my live platform has been down for over an hour and their website is down as well...
all my trades have disappeared from my platform as well!

very worrying since the market events over the last week.

Does anyone here have a connection?

I checked my Cowboy Go Markets account after reading your message to Steve. Had the same issue. First old version then could not log in. Then I looked at the account number and it was not the one I had on my LIVE account. So after the upgrade the account number changed and that is why Myself and maybe you as well cannot log in. If you go to login and click on the drop down arrow, you will see your original account number and select that and you will be able to log in as normal. Then remove all your funds
So the same thing happened to me, just try this whether it works. Good luck.

I will also move out my funds from them.

Frank, that is so bad that the account number was changed after the upgrade...unfortunately that wasn't the case for me, as I was manually typing in the account # and password myself.

It really p***es me off that they make these changes without warning anyone. How hard would it be to send an email out saying that clients need to update their platform rather than just shutting them down without warning and doing so during the week when the markets are open as well!

This, and the crap a few weeks ago when their servers went down every day for 3 - 4 days (and then saying they were upgrading...again, where was the communication) has me seeing red with Go! The bad news on my part is my account is currently fairly drawn down, so I'm not in a position to close it right now But I have opened a 2nd live account with GP a few weeks ago and all my demos are now with GP as well. I am working as hard as I can to get my Cowboy Go Markets account into a position so I can close it (hopefully before anything much worse happens).

Anybody considering opening a live account with Cowboy Go Markets....DON'T!

I've had an account with GO for quite some time without a hitch, but today I had a trade on the SPI200 on both GO and AXI with a TP at 5004. The AXI trade hit the TP but the GO trade didn't, now I see a 10+ hour hole in the data. Even the data from the time the trade was opened is missing.
I have sent them an email and will see what happens as it should have been a $20 win (currently showing negative and falling)

Jemook, do you have SPI200? It doesn't appear in the demo (or I'm blind).

An update on this post. After several days the trade hit TP again and closed without any intervention from GO. Eventually I got a call from them to apologize for the problem, but I am watching very closely to see what happens as I have lost faith in them.

I have not experienced the other problem, but this may be due to the fact that I rename the liveupdate.exe file for every Empty4 install that I do to prevent it running without me starting it.

This should have been an old rant, better late than never. Also if needed, pls move post to appropriate thread. It's about 4 months old and this one's from Forex4you, also goes by the name of E-Global trade and finance group, Cypress.

Firstly, i was not able to execute order at desired rate, off quotes for more than an hour. 2/3 weeks later, impossible happened, an aj or au trade, not sure, closed by itself and neither the open nor close of the trade was recorded in the logs anywhere. Strange stuff.

My bad that i've not been able to switch my primary broker from them cowboys to GPF. Beg your pardon Jem.
