Sometimes you will need to restart Empty4 with no charts open (or at least nothing referencing the pair e.g. a chart with that pair or the CSS info page) as if Empty4 has referenced the pair for any reason sometimes only a restart will allow you to hide them.

Cheers,
Dave.
This procedure should work to delete unwanted pairs:

First, save the profile as something other than default. I named mine Bob's 104.

Go to the default profile and close all charts. Next, delete/hide unwanted pairs. Now shutdown/restart Empty4. It should open to default. Verify the unwanted pairs are gone in Market Watch. Now open your Bob's profile and you should be good to go.

At least it worked for me.

It worked fine, but when I clicked cancel it placed a pending order anyway.

?? Really? I assumed it was one D1 data point or one H4 data point per "bar." It looks like the vertical lines on the chart are month dividers. But there are about 20 D1 candles per month, and 6*5 = 30 H4 candles per week. So there are 20 D1 candles between the month divider lines, but wouldn't there be 20 H4 candles = 3.33 days between those same divider lines?

I'm having trouble getting the new template to work so I can't actually see it yet, but I assume that's the way it works?
Gary - the css indicators on the info page do not scale when you change timeframe. So if you have the timeframe set to D1 the scale for the D1 CSS is correct - line separator to line separator is 1 month and moving a cross hair across the chart will give you visual "backtesting" capability on the D1 CSS ONLY. When you change timeframe the currency strength lines do not move. So when you look at the H4 CSS on a D1 chart the line separator to line separator does not represent 1 month of H4 data and H4 visual backtesting is not possible.

Likewise when you switch to an H4 chart - the CSS lines do not move at all and the H4 CSS is now to scale relative to the date/time scale at the bottom of the chart (and you can visually backtest the H4 CSS) but the D1 is not.

I hope that makes sense - if not I will try some screenshots. Once you get it working you will see what Bob means.

Cheers,
Dave.

Ok, so I placed a few pendings on the GBP AUD yesterday when the CSS was showing golden rod. This morning when I opened it up to look I saw I'd been entered two levels but price had turned. The big question - should I have removed/closed all positions for loss when the CSS turned to RED? Right now its looking pretty sad!

As things stand, I'm still in. Fear or greed, who knows.

Yep I got nailed with that too. Will be paying much closer attention to CSS in future. I closed them. Can always get back in when it turns.

CSS is still down, see it as a possibility to scale in... :)

First of all, thanks Bob for a very wonderful system. Trading finally makes sense to me! However I have a question on CSS.

I have noticed that the CSS on the info page for USD on D1 is pointing upwards, yet the CSS for USD on the chart for D1 is pointing downwards. Is this displaying correctly?

Yes one is long term. Lets you know that USD is the strongest currency going or the month. Remember from line to line is 1 month to scale in the Daily. 4H shoes day by day and line to line is 1 week. It is going to take some time for people to understand that each indie is inside its own TF. When a strong currency like the USD has a dip in the UT it means it could go to the bottom on a day by day basis on the 4H chart but wont show a blip on the Daily. That is when you look to buy back into the trend.

For example the CAD is well on the bottom of the 4H but it is decelerating on the Daily. The real weak currencies are the AUD, NZD, JPY on the Daily. So I look to sell their rallies, which shows up on the 4H. If the 4H starts to show them going weak sell the snot out of them which probably will happen later this week.
Bob, EUR and NZD.

On the H4 they are 1 and 2,
on the D1 they are 3 and 7.

Schould I read is so that the EUR is strong overall, and the NZD retraced and is due for another dive?

I have pending longs EURNZD because of RSI, and try to learn to read the new CSS info-page.

The Cape is good thanks.

I'm still in the GBPAUD one - in the hole -126 pips and -158 pips. Hanging in.

Yes, was thinking about that. Am considering sticking another pending in at the break of the WP. There are a lot of daily levels between current price and my first entry (DS3, DS2, DS1 & DP). Would you pop a pending in at each of these, or mayb just DS2, DS1 and DP?

There is clearly GBP weakness around and the GBPUSD is on the bottom side of the 240. Do you think this is indicative of the potential for some of the other GBP crosses to follow suite?

The next decent GBP short looks like it may be GBPCAD based on the H4 CSS - they'll be crossing soon.
