In fact, I am using the strict thingy. This looks like one of those different crim = different feeds = different results thingies.

We may find that we need a trade-at-x-hour input rather than the current trade at the open of the new D1 candle for you to replicate your live trading. We shall see.

Hi all,

Since my last post on the performance of Gday on 15th January, the bot has recovered from all the losses incurred during the pre-christmas and new year periods and more.

OOTB + Rsi trend detection + stochs recently changed to 78/22.

The results attached below.

Yes...demo account with Alpari UK.

For testing purpose, I can launch 2 demo accounts with 2 different brokers
with the same initial balance.

I was trying to do strategy testing using ticks data from Dukascopy, and something unusual happened, with the error message " 17:37:29 2011.11.22 00:30 Gday EURUSD,Daily: object name passed to ObjectType function cannot be an uninitialized or empty string ".

Can anyone tell me what this means ?

I did not get this error message when using the servers data history.

I attached the test graph and the ST log file.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I did this too...opened another demo with Cowboy Go Markets and also an Cowboy IBFX as Steve suggested, same settings except I decided to change the Cowboy IBFX ob/os to 75/25 to see what difference that makes to the entries.

Ever since I set up the Cowboy IBFX demo, the platform keeps freezing, had to restart it last night at 5.25 broker time and EA took 3 trades immediately, even though it is set for StrictDispl...
Now this morning, 2 of the trades should have closed their first part and moved to breakeven, but nothing doing!

The EA on the GM account is working fine, so wondered is there anything particular I need to do with the EA settings on the Cowboy IBFX account to ensure it works correctly?
