Multi 10:4 Trader EA

I am no coder, but I think the final version with Brian's edits has some errors. Use the earlier version as Andrew suggested, and reload everything.

Since some/most? users are happy with the current EA ...

the "final" Version hangs up due to ?
I get uncountable alerts all telling me the same,
"... audchf orders closed at 1.47, Symbol trailing percent level"
After reinstalling the old Version of mt4gui.dll still the same behavior - I cannot start the program after it has hung up.
Since this EA did amazingly well, it would be a loss to leave it here.

I had to stop using latest version too.
Trying to figure out where this started to hang up.
now using 2.02 and started to get problems when I turned on UseMovingAverage but not all the time.
I hope I can get the latest version to work someday.

Hi all,

With reference to the latest Multi_10_4_EAv_Final release, it is running fine for me in demo--no lockups. My Empty4 is Version: 4.00 Build 451. Here are some quick tests I did.

Test1:
Settings are pretty much OOTB except for:
showDisplay = True
maxPairs = 5
useAO = true
useCSS=false
Lot = 0.02

2 EURUSD trades closed in profit. GBPCAD hit SL. The rest were manually closed along with EURUSD when total basket was in profit -- I hit the Close All Open button.

Test2
Same settings as Test1 except, changed useAO=false, useCSS=True.
Meaning:
useRSI=True
useAO=false
useStoch=false
useCSS=True

It has been running for more than 24hrs now, no pending trades whatsoever.

Test3
Same settings as Test1 & Test2, changed useAO=True.
Meaning:
useRSI=True
useAO=True
useStoch=false
useCSS=True

EA opened pending trades right away.

At this point, I'm not yet 100% sure if setting useCSS=True, is causing the EA not to place any pending trades.

Live results on FX Primus ECN starting from the 7th May. Version 2.04, the one before the final release posted. Default settings with CSS and correlation on. Not trading much but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The 10 minute NZDJPY trade was during heavy news. The small EURNZD trade was closed accidentally by me. Would have been a 100+ pip winner.

I'm running on a demo account on a work Windows XP server that trade copies to my live account at home using MT4i Internet Trade Mirror ( http://www.mt4i.com/appstore/app.aspx?i ... popularity ). I'm doing this since the Multi 10:4 Trader EA crashes on my Windows 7 notebook. Trade mirror works well and you can have up to 20 subscribers per channel setup and all free. Want to subscribe? ( Kidding.. )

I'm waiting for losers..

The release prior to the final release is 2.04a. However, you mentioned you are using version 2.04. Can I get a confirmation the exact version you are using please?

Me too, I've a lot of crashes; now i've installed 2.04a; only 1 trade in 3 days;
When I change the timeframe, Empty4 crashes; my demo is on FinFX

Thanks a lot for all your efforts !

PS: I've updated manually the mt4gui dll and mqh files from the http://www.mt4gui.com website; since I've done this the Empty4 did not crash. I'll hope it keeps on working like this; it also opened a stop order directly.
