question is it going up or down?
Bob, do you require the CSS to be gold? Or to go from green to gold (for shorts) or red to gold (for longs)?

What about a case like this, where price is < 240, RSI is nearly pinned to the top, but CSS is already red? That seems like a good opportunity to enter into a strong move. Or do you prefer to have it pull back farther so the CSS goes gold-green-gold?

I assume you don't require RSI-pinned and CSS-gold at the same time? E.g. in the chart above, on 20 May the RSI pinned high when CSS was green, but it wasn't pinned any longer by the time CSS went gold. I assume the RSI-pinnned is a "setup," and it doesn't have to stay pinned when CSS goes gold?

240 and RSI 2 are the two most important signals and then confirmation from the following
The tie breakers for me are:
1. Fundamentals, like today was a bank holiday in two major countries usd and gbp, so didnt really spend a lot of time looking for trades. Had two profits 1 for 21 pips and another for 15. Took out my gbp/usd trade for a loss. Strong fundamentals always top anything any indicator may say.
2. CSS info page-are two lines moving away from each other or one flat and another moving away, both indicating strong trend moves.
3. Crossing of DP or WP lines no matter what the indies say but CSS info page gives me a chance.
4. Most of my trades are based on the RSI 2 and the 240 line filter with steps 1,2, or/and 3 above.

I started thinking of a flow chart to use with the new template I made.

Does this mean you are no longer using CSS on individual pairs, just using the info page instead?

By the way, I'm surprised you took a loss on GU - looked a picture-perfect setup. Which of course I missed.

I observe that going via the RSI2 then confirming with Info Page CSS led me today to consider just GU, EG, UC and CC. But on looking at the Info Page CSS on its own later, I realized that EA was also a fair contender that would have yielded some 40 or so pips minimum, but it was missed just because RSI2 filtered it out.

So, it may be fair to say that the Info Page CSS may sometimes be worth evaluating on its own, independently of RSI2.

Bob
I used your new tpl today and i find it easier to use, faster to use also.
I noticed you set the threshold to 4 instead of 2,5 or 3 like in previous templates, what is the reason for this change ?
thanks

USDJPY.

Price is trapped in 101.00 level. A lot of buy orders waiting below that line, and a lot of sell orders set above. It ´s moving in a 10 pips range (!) Seems a peaceful scenario when you see those littles dojis in the 1H chart but is full of tension. This pressure is building strength and when this constrainment finish we´ll see a violent move up or down. This could happen tonight, at Tokio opening.

H4 CSS is creeping down, would be surprised if any JPY-cross goes further down.
I admit, partially wishful thinking.....

CSS 4 ---- Great sloping JPY and AUD, top and bottom, looks as an inverse mirror... AUDJPY should be a terrific buy! I´m in. SL at last swing low, TP at WR1 This kind of CT is very dangerous but the risk/reward worths it. I have 37 winning trades in a row, 0 losses last week. So, for me it´s time to risk.

Nice run, zentauro! What's your mix of trades? Trending and CT? How do you treat each? E.g. small TPs for CT entries like AUDJPY, big TPs for strong trenders? Do you trade mid-CSS currencies or stick with the ones that are moving stronger?
