Not really sure what you are asking for. I assume you have thoroughly read Bob's Post #1 and read his PDFs

He gets most of his indicators from the very talented Baluda: http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... lit=baluda

Thanks murph, I saw the baluda upon reading post#1 and thought it alluded to just one indicator which I would pick up at a later date, but picked them up on a template ???!!! but not interested in 10.3 at that time...now I am slowly working through the whole web site and often get a bit confused ( too much information I guess)

Can someone please tell me why these 2 charts the last candle is different, is it purely because of Global Prime not being +/-2 hrs - thanks

Thanks MurphyMan. So would that time difference also explain how the RSI can be at the top on GP chart but at the bottom on Excel?.

I have a question about Bob's trading day as he describes it in 10.4 CSS info page.pdf. Which by the way sounded to me like a great trading plan to work to when learning and an amazingly valuable bit of information for us. So I decided to do exactly that and map it out a bit clearer for myself and stick it up on the wall to follow. I'm on the same timezone as Bob so I gathered I can try and trade exactly to his plan.

So the only question I have and maybe this isn't the best place to ask, but I didn't want to clutter up the other threads with a newbie question of sorts.

His advice for best times to close profit as he has mentioned in a number of places are:
2-3 hrs in to JPY session
3-4 hrs in to the US/Eur sessions

But in his trading day it doesn't look like he is checking the market at these times. See the attached breakdown below of his day as I took it from the pdf. Note the times are in +12est (ie china/western australia).
Bob's Trading Day.png
(I realise he only takes 5-10 mins at each check, I've just put 30 mins for my own benefit as a newbie)

These are the times that would match the preferred profit taking times
2-3 hrs into JPY session would be 9-10am +12est
3-4 hrs into Eur would be 6-7pm +12est
3-4 hrs into US session would be 11-12pm +12est

I can totally appreciate the times he lists out in his day as they really do suit our timezone very well and in bed by 11pm is great :-) So I'm just wondering if he does in fact also check at these later times listed above or if it's ok for me to just stick to the times in his trading plan?

Cheers
Paul

Sorry I have another question as well re breakeven sl moves.

In a few places in the manuals and threads it says move sl to break even when you open the next level trade . In Bob's writings he says once you get to this point your risk free. I hadn't quite got my head around this, as you would then have the new trade you just opened in play and it would have a stoploss of the breakeven of the previous trade. So still some risk on the table surely?

Then in the bob's lessons documents page 9 I read to move the entire position to break even which made me think, ok so what does that mean? Do I need to work out where between the previous entry and the new entry the stop needs to go so the profit on the first entry will offset the loss on the next entry??

(I'm guessing half way between the 2 if they are even lotsizes?)

So if someone could clarify it would be greatly appreciated

Cheers
Paul
