Hi Nanningbob, I have been a follower of you since December last year and I must must say that my trading has improved drastically since I have taken up your trading techniques. I must thank you for your patience and understanding towards one and all here. You are truly a good teacher. May God bless you.

Good job, Gertje. Wellcome, Wavegarrick.

It seems that as JPY monthly pattern becomes more predictable money is entering earlier and we can assume that the sell-off will happen some days earlier also. So, it should be wise exit JPY positions on 8th, 9th of the month.

Zen, are you in this counter trade?
4h is still red and both h1&4 are at top flat.
if you wait for h4 goldenrod are you usually too late?
I took it from the bottom thanks to CSS4 slope. Worked well, but too risky anyway.
CT can be very profitable if you know what your are doing. My 5.0 was successful but more DD intensive at times. However they are a much more in and out trade than trend trading. You see a run and hitting the return is not that difficult. Anyway nice CT trade.

All of these JPY trades are knocking on the 240 or WP door today. Be interesting to see if they break through this week or bounce off and break through next week. Either way I have my pendings loaded up on the other side of those lines waiting for the June move.
Here is daily jpy month by month see how it breaks at the beginning of every month.
Bob, if you notice.... Fibo's apply also on the D1 CSS info page. Great stuff!

News are trend´s best friends. So much time to build a little retrace, then pops up a news, and the trend is resumed so fast... Retraces are built on OB/OS speculation, news confirm fundamentals.

@kwanann

Of course, you always can face unexpected news wich makes a big spike against the trend.

Hector Deville (in his trend following course) has very good stuff videos on this kind of news against a previous trend scenarios. Upon him, a spike against the trend is an excellent opportunity to check the health of the trend. If you see the next 3 bars (4h) canceling quickly the result of the news, that means the trend is very strong and there are no news that can change the direction.

He advises don´t trade the news of high impact (not opening orders 2 hours before/ after) but try to learn about the health of the trend as a result of the news impact. If the trend proves be a healthy one (a tweezers candlestick pattern is the perfect confirmation), you can enter then with great confidence.

Hi Bob - I was interested in the answer to the question Alex84 asked regarding the threshold going from 2.5 - 3.00 now at 4.00 and what does this mean? I looked for an answer but did not find it if I missed it sorry.

Thanks so much

Hi, does anyone know how to solve the zero divide error on the new CSS /Empty4 v500 template?

I´ve put it on several OS (XP SP3, Seven), US UK, AUS Brokers, LIve & Demo accts... one, two, four, core processors... forced history download (2000/200) on every timeframe of each pair :? no joy... what else can I do???

Maybe your broker is offering too much pairs. Try to go to marketwatch and hide (right mouse) exotics, metals, etc. You only need 26, 27 pairs (the most often traded) to have a good CSS reading.
