Not sure if my system is working properly but I have attached a screenshot showing EU. I am new to this system and trying to figure out how this is a possible short. Whilst EU is below 240 ma it broke above EU in last candle. The CSS has changed from golden to green rod. On the daily CSS I have both USD and EUR above 0 with EUR strengthening (albeit slowly) and USD just starting to decelerate back to 0.

As I have said not sure if my force history script worked correctly so maybe my data is out of sync.

Appreciate comments

E/U at the time you took the pic the RSI2 was just entering 80 and not flat top. CSS on the chart is Green telling you it's not a good time. Wait until is gold again and RSI2 is top flat. This way you avoid the range momento. Be confident... will go down but not yet.

CSS, CAD crossing down over a rising JPY.
Hm. CAD crossing down over rising JPY, so you must be looking at the D1 CSS. I wouldn't have expected that for a short-hold strategy like you're describing. Meanwhile on the H4, CAD and JPY have been nearly parallel for the last 24 hours. Which is odd considering CADJPY has dropped 200 pips in that period!?
If CAD was below JPY when parallel, it's logical for the pair to go down. The numbers indicate their rate of de-/ incline. The greater the number, the steeper the curve of the single currency.

OK, Did some research on why this thing is dragging my whole system down into a black hole. Here is what I come up with.

1) Anything Pentium 3 or less....FORGET IT! It aint gonna happen.
2) Even the old setup is a problem on these machines, Restarting 3 and 4 times a day.
3) Since I am making anywhere from 3 to 10% per week I have to do something.
4) I am thinking I5 or better for optimum performance.
5) I have withdrawn some of my trading money to purchase a state of the art, All balls custom built laptop with an I7 processor with 6 G memory and forex in mind.
6) I will update as it comes to my door.

i think the numbers represent the "distance" from the zero line, that means their strength.

But look at e.g. GBP and JPY on H4 CSS. They are also parallel in that period, about the same distance as CAD and JPY. But even though GBP is + and JPY is -, GBPJPY went DOWN since 5.28 12:00.

I believe close parallel flat lines don't have any predictable direction. You need a significant distance to get a clear signal.

Gary I look at CSS slope for direction not value. If they are moving apart or coming together it tells you something. I wonder where I learnt that? ;)

BUY STOP at WP (131.498), SL at 240MA (130.620).
Please tell me is this good setup.
Hi Koobala
There are probably a few better trades around than this one, but that is only my opinion..
as mentioned, there are later versions (10.5) that use the CSS to show the strength of currencies as a filter for better trades. It is worth getting a handle on these!

Your entry should be just above (or at) the WP, if going long...I see yours is just below.

The attached CSS shows the EurJpy close to each other..so price will be ranging...Currencies circled in blue are opposed ie one weak, one strong...they are the ones you should be looking for setups as these will be trending...Longer term, the Eur is stronger than the JPy (see the daily value) but 4H is almost the same.

Hope this helps!

cheers
