This looks interesting.

Do you account for spread on your buy orders?

I.E. place the order at say 1.3010 + spread?

Or do you just place the buy order at 1.3010?

I'm interested in trading this, but ONLY when price comes to a round number for the FIRST time during the European/London session.

Thanks!

Spread doesn't need to be calculated.

according to the strategy i dont think you need to acc for spread.

Since where your buy stop order is placed is also where your sell stop SL is placed, i.e the broker will charge you for spread on your sell stop SL and you Buy Stop order meaning the two will triger @ the same price/time.

And vice versa.

Ive tested a lot a sideway martingale of breakout box and from this experience I know how could sideways martingaleing dangerous. However I love martingale. And I like this concept. The only problem with martingale is that youll never know when it will blow your account. Even if it did make maximum of 7 levels in the past (from your experience) it doesnt mean that more levels never happen..

But round number box is really concept to consider. I wont probably trade it on my live account but you inspired me for similar idea, but I dont want to hijack this thread. I will present soon in separate thread..

Thank you anyway and I am wishing to all traders let there be a lot of green pips..

Cheers Karel

Excellent man, you see the more we share the more we learn. And Thanks to this forum, I am learning something everyday. I am really looking forward to see what you would come up with.

Now guys, I want to make a point clear. The numbers I have mentioned on my post doesn't have to be the final settings. I mean, we do have an edge here, round numbers are really good SR levels, just pop up a chart and see how much action happens around them. So once we get the EA working properly, We will have a lots of things to try. Lets say, what if we take profit at the next round number or next mid-round number? Increasing the TP that much would lower the Lot multiplier considerably. Martingale wont look so scary then. Or lets increase the gap size which will reduce the level ups. There are so many things to try.

I hope Mike will fix the glitches very soon, he is an excellent coder. And then we would be able to start the party right? :D
