Now who stayed in after the counter trend dip in the euro session to reap the with trend surge in the us session? How'd everyone do?

Did some counter trend trades on NzdUsd, but missed the AudNzd. Didn't want to post as this was not 10.5 rules.

Read a good article last night, jpy bond buying is going to happen again this month. BOJ is changing its strategy some. Instead of 8 buying sessions they are going to 10. So no matter what your indis say get ready to load up because they are committed to their program. When the Koreans complained to the BOJ about their program they basically told them to deal with it.

Bob you are exactly on the nose with the above paragraph.

No matter what news comes out "proof is in the pudding" so to speak. Daily CSS shows activity every month the last few months so until that pattern is broken I will use that pattern to my trades.

My vacationing time here in Athens includes a 4.4 shallow earthquake just now basically underneath us. Great way to wake up.

I have had only 4 trades this week so far and they were all winners (AUDJPY, EURNZD, GBPNZD and AUDCHF). I was very cautious but did go after a few from the DP back into the trend. I'm still learning but already have a much better outcome than just blindly trading.

We don't do CT in this thread but I build my PENDINGS STOPS for the week by waiting till the conditions are right and keeping a safe distance of PA while in the retracement

Think you misunderstood me - *price* moved counter trend during the euro session for most pairs - as Bob said - a big retracement - BUT - the us session corrected that for most of the pairs and then some. I was wondering if any of the 10.4 traders weathered draw down or not.

Going to have a think about those pending stops though - sounds like a decent twist on the approach....

I do get DD at times but as soon as price goes back into the trend it disappears very quickly. So far I have had a very nice day with the xxx.JPY and AUD sells. Eur/jpy at 121 pips in the bank has been my best pair so far today. I have already cleaned out yesterday's losses.

Trades aud/cad cross down that WP
aud/chf did and am in.
aud/jpy cross up at WP
aud/nzd looking to cross back down the 240 MA
aud/usd cross back R1 and looking for it to go back to WP.
cad/jpy going up along with all the other xxx.jpy pairs some better than others.
nzd/jpy going up
nzd/usd going down
usd/cad, usd/chf,usd/jpy playing all going up. Something has to appreciate while the aud, nzd, and jpy go down. Might as well be the USD since I dont like playing the CHF.

Totally unneeded. Even with yesterday's market there was a chance to TP.
Set-up some trades yesterday, picked the fruits this morning.
