VERY PARADOXICAL. THE US ISM MANUFACTURING PMI IS WORSE THAN EXPECTED, YET DOW JONES IS RISING !

BAD NEWS IS ALSO GOOD NEWS. BAD NUMBERS MEANS THE FED IS LESS LIKELY TO END QE, SO STOCK PRICES RISE.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED MANUFACTURING PMI IN THE UK AND A WEAKER USD HAS HELPED PROPELLED THE POUND ABOVE 240MA AND BLEW THRU THE R ZONE.

THE SAME THING HAS HAPPENED TO THE EURUSD.

I REPEAT : I DO NO TRADE HIGH IMPACT NEWS. IT IS LIKE PLAYING LOTTERY. IF THE TRADE GOES YOUR WAY,YOU MAKE A PILE. IF IT GOES AGAINST YOU, IT MAY BLOW YOUR ACCOUNT.

YOU NEVER KNOW WHICH WAY IT WILL GO. SOMETIMES, BAD NEWS IS GOOD NEWS, AND VICE VERSA.

I had an EU SELL which I closed before the US ISM NEWS for 7 pips. SEE WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE NEWS ! You have to RESIST PLAYING THE LOTTERY.

The market is now open. I have a pending buy on EURJPY and GBPJPY on H4 tf. Half lot size for GJ because it is CT. Both stochs below 20.

PROS : BOJ bond purchase in the first 10 days of the month should weaken the yen.

CONS : if the stock market correction continues, the yen will strengthen.

Two pending buys last night made about 25 pips each, both bailed out early near the WP because the nikkei was dropping.

GBPAUD, GBPNZD, EURAUD, AND EURNZD have all done a big retrace AND ALL OVERSOLD.

So, I AM WAITING FOR A SETUP IN THE NEXT 24 HRS TO TRADE BACK INTO THE TREND.

HOWEVER, IF NOT SETUP, THEN NO TRADE.

Some sort of normality has returned to the market this am, and many pairs are back into their trend again.

I have sold gold on waking up this am at 148.8, slightly late entry.
