I threw this on a live Micro account last night to see how she flys. (it seems they always trade live a bit different). Anyways, so far so good, except I did get a couple of trade errors. "Invalid Price"

I've been letting it do everything. I've got some more of the invalid entries this morning and some failed closures.

Are you closing manually?

Could you pm me a copy of the expert log so i can try and work out what is going on? This is not good on live and so i want to get this fixed asap.

Rob and i have been discussing the exit strategy, the EA gets in ok on H4 and you can get a big surge in profits but then there is the retrace and lose most of it again. Once option is a fixed TP, but this could limit trades but then you have the option of using bigger lot size with increased chance of hitting TP. Another option is using a dynamic TP, based on volatility, to help grab as much as possible. I have been looking at Bollinger Bands (Period 5, Deviation 2-3 [need to create a version that allows decimal values] and shift 0) as maybe an option but welcome any other suggestions. I have noticed for H4 the ATR filter keeps you out of too many trades so have turned off in my tests.

Maybe the answer is to use the H1 charts instead, any thoughts or suggestions welcome.

Yes i open the expert advisors in the morning ar 07:00 sm london time and close everything manually at 16:00 london time

The trailing candle might be a good option. I also like to use a trailing percentage sometimes. That way as the trade gets further in profit the stop widens to allow some breathing room. Then you could still have the color change in place as a backup.

I think the color change will be pretty good though by itself as long as we can get it working properly. I had a trade on XAU/USD that changed colors for 3 bars and didn't close. It's still in profit but lost some pips from not closing.

Use the following settings:

UseLastColorChangeSL=false;
UseCandlestickTrailingStop=false;
JumpingStop=false;
TrailingStop=true;

Default options have changed for use on H4 charts so change accordingly.
