many thanks. do you know of any one who has the TS version of the Composite Index? I was told that the forex-tsd version seem to give different result because the formula is wrong.

Now lets hope we can find the derivative oscialltor too.

My version appears to give the same results as the one from Forex TSD, as well as the CFG MO indicator which is apparently the same thing.

Oh well. I went ahead and did the Derivative Oscillator. It looks like what you'd expect it to look like. So, how will you use them in trading?

It has been said that the composite index is actually the same as the Cardwell Financial Group Momentum Oscillator (CFGMO) by Andrew Cardwell, an implementation can be found here, http://fxcodebase.com/code/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=3007

By the way gaheitman, is it possible to modify your derivative oscillator to display arrows when there is a divergence e.g price is moving up but the oscillator is sloping down and vice versa? Is it hard to show both normal divergences and hidden divergences?

Hi There gaheitman, I would like to thank you for SHF-CompositeIndex indicator.

I did however slightly bastardise the indicator to suit my own needs.

I removed both CI_Sm1 & CI_Sm2 lines from the sub-window and added a level 50 line as I think it shows balance much better.

I was wondering if you could make your indicator MTF so I can view both 4hr & Daily indicators on an H4 chart ?
