Re: 10.4/10.5 trades only
quick note of observation.
GBPUSD did finally finally attack the R1. but now is in an intraday bearish pattern.
CHF has suddenly lost alot of steam. pairs like USDCHF hit their S1 and now moving back towards WP.
all i feel right now is. "dried up"
trades have dried up.
D1 CSS shows USD still pointing down. but which currency can we fade against it?
the only ones pointing up with conviction AUD and NZD however are not fulfilling the basic core of 10.4 hence it is no go.
looking very much like a no go no trade day today.
i remember i used to be a +XX pips trader on say monday tuesday then by friday i lost all of that and more and wondering why i didn't stop on tuesday.
with this framework i know when to be out. i know when to be in.
the market is working things out for the coming future.
so let it prepare for that.
there's G8 coming next week. and kuroda jawbones again too.
just looking over the horizon for event risks.
all the while just looking at the dashboard(awesome) to see if anything is missed.
i love technicals. because people always talk crap.
but technicals reveal everything. its like looking at everyones bank accounts.

Guys, just be careful of any 10.5 trades you take today, most (if not all) of the pairs look like they are getting ready for reversal, if they havent already
@nico
yup trades more or less dried up after tues based on 10.5, its more CT trades that are in place now

Today i entered many CT trades and it lost -400 pips
but 10.4/10.5 gain +300 pips
I will stuck with 10.4 / 10.5 / Jemook rules as less risk ,best results and safe at the same time .While CT from my experince has huge DD and big risk.

Nico, I don't understand the entries, CSS was not the right color or RSI was not right, except unless you play the cross of the pivots?nicoacademia wrote:awesome day on USDJPY short

Re: 10.4/10.5 trades only
i dont have acess to my com to show screen but RSI2 was pinned for GBPAUD as it retrace to WP and for USDJPY was in >80 RSI2 territory for 3 4H bars before push down profit release.kwanann wrote:Nico, I don't understand the entries, CSS was not the right color or RSI was not right, except unless you play the cross of the pivots?nicoacademia wrote:awesome day on USDJPY short

Yup we all have blown accounts doing that. i so much too until it sinks in.fahedksa wrote:True, nicoacademia wrote:we don't do CT.

being consistent with the setup trains us to think through n using a positive expectancy setup.
after profit release is like give market time to re-set up profitably - catching people the wrong way.
took me 4 years of endless blown accounts n wasted life events before this wisdom sunk in.
