Welcome to the forum. In future please don't post in all CAPITALS as it's considered shouting on the interwebs. Are you applying the CCI to the TMA or the RSI2 or just using it on it's own?

You gotta love these guys. He joins on June 12 and it is June 14 and he is ready to change the system. All indicators are based on a moving average and a math formula. Then you wonder why people blow accounts and lose money.

Here is a pick of CCI 14 and RSI 2. RSI 2 gives you a very clear signal to get ready to trade. CCI tells you what?? It doesnt flatten out like RSI 2 but it makes lots of bumps up and down. Here is a comparison between the 2 and the movement between them is almost identical. However, What is the CCI signal ???? I can clearly see the RSI 2 signal. Why dont you learn how the system works first and understand it before you get happy with you own little indies. There is absolutely nothing superior about CCI in fact it is inferior and just gives the same signals in a less than clear way on a screen.

In fact why dont you tell us the difference between the CCI 14 and a simple 1 MA medium on the screen other than it is put in a box and price action is laid sideways? That is all it is.

It's not quite as bad as you thought Bob - they have some similarities but RSI(2) is more suitable for the "get ready/set pending signal". More to the point - no need to change what is far from broken. I think he meant something like this below.

RSI2 4H is simply awsome. The cross of 20-80 level lines is one of the most powerful signals I have seen.

If I was forced to choose only one indi of the system and quit all the others, I´ll keep RSI2 (+240). You can trade without pivots, css, etc, but RSI2 is a must have.

And I am closing school, having parties, going to the park, passing out report cards, saying good-bye to my students. Some we are saying good bye to have been in our school for over 5 years. Really sad. Steve would know what it means. An end to an era. As some of you know foreigner schools have been declining in some areas of China because of all the new restrictions laid down since the Olympics and new restriction from home countries on sending children to foreign schools. The last 3 years my numbers in my school have been 54, 47, 34 and now next year maybe 20-25. We used to have a middle/high school of 22 kids just 2 years ago and even had our own school yearbook. We had to close down the high school this last year and we will close the middle school this next year. We will only run grades 1-6 with a couple of middle school kids doing internet middle school. I loved the time we had here in China, the people are great and have treated us real well but one last year and we go home. Hopefully to semi-retirement if trading does well. Anyway kids will be coiming back and we will make home made pizzas as a good bye party. Then a quick clean up and a visit to remote Chinese village for the weekend. Hopefully a story of courage as I listen to 5 men and how they recovered and rebuilt a village that was destroyed in WW2.

One thing Americans dont know is because of the Flying Tigers this area of China is very American friendly. They remember it was our boys flying planes overhead and they used to come out and watch the dogfights. When an American plane was shot down the Chinese would try to rescue the pilot before the Japanese would find him and escort him back to safety. Downed American planes became souvenirs and many people in the countryside have pieces of American planes stored in their houses. I remember I walked into a persons house and there was this 2 foot section of a plane. The people told me of their story of how their Grandpa and Grandma would feed and hide the pilot. They would point to the spot where they sat in the room and were excited about the memories of having a foreigner who fought for the Chinese. It is a story they havent forgotten and is a part of many village lore in this area. I hope to get enough first hand information to write a book. Anyway I will be gone until Sunday or Monday.
