I like the analogy Sam. Things are always in a state of ebb and flow, action and reaction, buy and sell, so whenever out on the edge there's a "gravity" to pull back towards centre.MurphyMan wrote:A little trick I learned from the late great David Elliott a.k.a. First Wave. Think of the RSI2 as a rubber band, that gets stretched out. You want it to be stretched as far as possible, so when released it "Snaps Back Up", or "Snaps Back Down".pips400 wrote: The important thing is that the RSI2 TMA 4H is "pinned" first. That means either right at the top or right at the bottom. The reason is that with the RSI2 is pinned you're getting into the trade at the optimum point. If RSI2 is not pinned price can retrace further which means greater DD and stress! That's why Jem says to wait for a good retrace, otherwise if we're not patient it's possible to place the trade too early. So after the retrace then we're looking to the CSS colour change for the entry. If you're an aggressive trader you can place the trade soon if the CSS lines are converging and you are confident.
So when looking through the charts at review time, the first thing I look for is the Snap Back Up or Snap Back Down condition.

Hi all
After everyone including me saying they were sitting back watching and waiting there were a couple of nice 80+ pip short moves after H1 RSI pinned at the top and "grey-rod" on the AUDUSD and NZDUSD pairs at the NY open, both hitting WP. Drat!! I was curled up in bed. Oh well __it happens!
My thanks to you too Jeremy.

And long ones with e/a, e/n, g/a, g/n but RSI was not pinned on the bottom so they were only DP (or WP) cross trades, not a RSI ones.

Re: How to Trade 10.x Like a Boss
Hi Guys:
I had good luck trading Jeremy's template last night using the 5 shift 1 LWMA for entries, netting about 400 pips. Using the info page EA, watching for setups and then going to the chart, and if I saw a good retracement I attached the 5.1 ea to chart and when it alerted a trade I attached the easyorder script and set tp and sl worked really nice. I noticed that when the 5.1 triggered a trade it would almost match up with the 1h css color change, maybe just a tad early. I read a post by Jeremy ( Jemook), where he reminded Bob of his awesome 5 shift 1 lwma for entries and how it worked like a charm with 10.4 rules. Jeremy, how come you don't use it anymore? I think it would be nice if someone could code it to close the trade when it recrosses the 5.1.

Hey Dave,
I think 5.1 is a good trigger feel free to use it if you wish. I don't use it anymore because everything I need is on that template provided.
Cheers,
J

I'm wondering as well. I try to read all the post on this forum (concerning 10.5 trading anyway) and I've read the term 5 shit 1 LWMA a few times, each time thinking I would probably find an explanation of what it is in some point in time. I'm still clueless howeverdavek wrote:Hi Guys:
