To be more precise if you don't have the total of won pips, your calculation is like this:
(34 x 91) - (23 x 78) = 3094 - 1794 = 1300 pips won

?

The statement tells me it's 1288.0 pips....
If that's +/- 12%, he's trading 0.01 per $1.000,- balance.

FXCM freezing up all day, 'they are experiencing problems' when I entered chat.
I must say i have never had a problem before, but you realize how much you depend on this stuff when you don't have it. does anyone run a back up platform?

FXCM recently experienced tech issues that affected our Empty4 clients. Some traders were unable to log into Empty4 while others may have experienced freezing as you described. If you had a live trade that was negatively impacted by these tech issues, please note the rate at which you tried to exit the trade and submit an audit. The audit forms can be found below.

Jason, as I get glued to the screen when I have trades on I was just catching up with this thread, thank you very much for the response, I was not exposed on your platform during the 'freezing' periods. As I mentioned I have had no prior issues with FXCM, I thought I was lucky in choosing you out of the myriad platforms out there after I read the various horror stories. Who are you by the way and what do you do?
Great to have you anyway, if I may ask one technical question, I have a solid state laptop en route with bells and whistles, a few here have set up secondary accounts/platforms to run the INFO page as it is accused of chewing up the processor, if I do that with FXCM and its not a live account will it expire periodically.
Again, great platform, I took today off but it looked like it was still a bit 'crunchy' last night, I just noticed the Kb counter in the bottom right corner, it still isn't ramping up very quickly.

What I don't understand, is that FXCM is presenting themselves as a Real broker (non Market Maker) meaning that they don't take the opposite position in any trade. So they have no interest in failing or successful traders. It is at least their official version.
(Of course the story is completly different If they're taking other hidden practices against their traders)

And yes it is 1288 pips according to Cowboy IBFX script.

I assume the landing page is not up to date - it looks nothing like Bob and Baluda's CSS.

EDIT: It only shows USD - JPY - AUD - NZD - CAD ... missing are CHF - GBP - EUR
The absence of those may explain why ther is a difference.
ie: Without the input of all working currencies, the rest of the basket is severely unbalanced.

But I have no way of knowing without going further, whether this is indeed the case.

Edit #2: There is no way of being certain which of the 8 majors is represented in those 5 lines, without going over each pair and flipping back to the Forex Climate page. Not sure why all 8 are not shown - maybe to protect the commercial interests of the site owner?

Nanningbob it is my 4th week with 10.4/10.5 and it is really amazing system. Second time in my forex life I SEE what is going on (last time when I have wrote something like this I have lost my 12k account in 4 weeks). So... I hope this time will be different.
