PS. There is no system with 100% right entries. So you will get SL from time to time. The key is to catch all possible trades (yes I really mean all because around 70-80% are good and 20-30% are bad and you usually get the bad ones when you enter only a few of possible trades).

I have posted before about this, and if it saves one trader from the fox then it is worth it:

E-V-E-R-Y time you boot your trading platform, re-load your template on each chart..
ie: the #10.5 gray 5.02 if that is what you are using

Occasionally you may find that the CSS will be different.
It's just a memory update thing I think.

I discovered this when looking at one pair, and wondering why it was all green, when clearly
the CSS should have been red.

A quick reload of the template fixed that, and potentially stopped me from taking a trade that
was seriously headed in the opposite direction. I doubt I would have taken that trade anyway -
but when scanning through all charts looking for setups, it may have caused me to overlook a
trade that was pleading to be taken.

If you are not having this issue, disregard this post, but keep it
in mind if things are not looking how you'd expect.

Jeremy, could I trouble you to post that script you use to reload all your templates? Is that too, the same script or a different one that can be used to refresh the charts, so I don't have to change time frames to get the css to load, I remember seeing that somewhere, but don't remember where now?

I find loading the templates sometimes gives you a bit of a scrambled display on the CSS - see attached. What I do is run a script to change the timeframe of all charts and then change it back again. So if I trade H1 charts then I change to H4 and back to H1. This refreshes the CSS without the scrambled bit.

Obviously this is working for you Ingot but if anyone else has the same issue as below then try the timeframe switch instead.

Another option I use a lot is rather than changing the template for each chart, I just reload the profile which does all the charts at once. This repopulates the CSS indi which is blank on first open.

I am not too savvy with these things ... so after a bit of mucking around I discovered (duh!) that the "Allow DLL imports" box (under the "Common" Tab) has to be checked also. This will then require the user to say "yes" to the next three permission boxes that flash on the screen.

It works nicely ... and saves a lot of time.

I know this is the "10.4/10.5 Trades Only" thread, and don't want to hijack the topic, but while we are discussing tools, here is another very useful script that changes ALL charts to the same template, just as the above script changes all time frames to the same one:

ChangeTemplateAll.mq4

The user will also need to enable dll and say "yes" to the three permission questions.

Remember that the first template in your drop-down folder is number "0" ... the second is number "1" and so on.

Have a play with it - huge time saver.

That's a cute workaround.
I found that on a previous Empty4 version it wouldn't load, so I forgot about it. Many thanks for the reminder.
Make sure the box 'Confirm DLL function calls' is not checked and it will load without confirmation.
Voila.
No need to be interrogated by the 'machine'
(Sorry Ol' Mate, I may have a different version not needing confirmation but)
