YES ! That's the reason I'm watching this interesting bot so far only .... not rady for a new attempt bcz of quite different results trader fellows are posting here ... hmmm so far in doubt although ...
Any explanations for these serious differences ? ...

Dudest' comparative sounds really cool. I mean the "unified+mptm" one, not the "niepce vanilla" one of course. Dudest, can you tell what's your Axitrader server timezone ? GMT+2 ?

- phil's settings (more often than not), and possible updates that were made in the windev code, that could possibly not be reflected in the mql4 code - but that's some obscure part.

- perhaps some bugs left open.

- perhaps broker feed difference (which doesn't really affect much the candlesticks visually speaking - but can have some impact on the indicator's numbers. A stoch at 75 is OB, while a stoch at 74 isn't, a RSI at 56 is trending while a RSI at 55 is ranging...)

- too high leverage used by demo people including myself. "Because it's only demo, who cares". Problem, margin check will avoid new trades to be open. Problem, these trades not opened should have been the good ones.

- acting as a stooge for the proprietary version ? then i am kermit, the king of muppets. Not to point the finger at Phil. Not at all. He invested too much time correcting the bugs and reviewing the code. But fact is, one is winning, another is breakeven. Traders should focus first in not loosing money. That step is reached. Now time to improve again the code.

I've finished checking against my broker, and got different values for the params of interest (stoch, rsi). Finally came up with a "unified" set (to keep things simple)

3 demos are the result of this:

1. Marylin_vanilla: v0.36 with niepce set files
2. Marylin_unified: v0.36 with my unified settings
3. Marylin_unified_mptm : v0.36 with my unified settings managed by MPTM

What can I answer if you find that 75%/3 months is not a good return ?

May be that there are 2 people working to safe the system !
May be that there are 2 different sites, with 2 different internet connexion to guarantee a 24/24H running !
May be that I spend 4 years to develop it !
May be a lot of other things ...

Currently at GMT+3; they will switch to GMT+2 when clock goes back in fall

I think you hit the nail on the head Niepce [ IMHO, 2 main reasons ]

1) broker feeds are different-

2) one has to adapt the niepce setfiles (made for Phil's broker) to one's broker

The two affects entries/exits/move to BE

While reading thru the thread, I came across quite a few 'complaints' of high equity followed finally by BE or loss results. Hence the MPTM idea (trail profits, close all when global profit target is reached)
