I believe it's the same with GP. Maybe Jeremy can comment on this. That's why I don.t understand...

EURCHF, 4H.

A nice example of equilibrium born from central banks manipulation. SNB, great pro.

240 LWMA 4H (orange line) acts as a perfect resistance.

200 SMA Daily, the most used by banks and institutions, acts as the perfect support.

(Yellow line is the equivalent 1200 SMA 4H. Yes, it´s too much slow for intraday trading but you can be sure price will react reaching that line).

55 SMA (magenta line) is, for my taste, the most accurate to reveal dynamic resistence areas. This week price closed in the confluence of 55 with Weekly pivot. (0,3 pips!)

Often we hear that forex is not perfect, but sometimes SNB almost get it.

I am working on a non CSS version of 10.4. The 60 LWMA is very similar (2MA weekly) and gives very clear signals to reenter.

60 LWMA sounds great. My computer is happy knowing you are working on it.

Dynamic resistance is usually between 30 and 55 SMA. If price goes further be ready to say goodbye to the retrace, that could be impulse... 60 LWMA should give enough space for holding the swings and some extra pips for not being confused by pins.

I trade this way long time ago. The difficulty is once price reaches 60 LWM (equivalent to 55 SMA). You need some skills to spot the best (safer) point where retrace ends and trend is resumed. 1-2-3 pattern is a great tool. Retrace trendline broken is another. There are plenty of indis helping in this task. The best of all I have tried (and I have tried a lot of them) is Demark trendline.
Demark_trend_alert_and_mail.mq4

This is pure old fashioned chartist trading, but for me trendlines are always a great teacher. Something very interesting I have noticed often: the moment where retrace trendline is broken always (almost always) matches the cross in CSS (goldenrod). So, this way we can have the same thing without RAM issues.

I can´t wait to see your work.

10.4 SIMPLE looks like this all examples are gbp/aud. Pic 1 start with the 240 and 60 LWMA lines showing entrance points. The basic trade is when price is above the 60 and below the 240 you look to reenter the trend with a sell. If it is below the 60 and above the 240 you enter a buy.

The second pic shows RSI 2 signals with the two MAs showing uptrend. Price is at or below the 60 line (yellow) and RSI 2 bottoms look to buy.

3rd pics adds the STO 5 as a refinement. When both are at the bottom you see some extra trades that didnt quite make it back to the 60 line but gives a secondary signal for a trade. Those are the green areas

Those are all signals to trade, you dont trade yet. Now go to the 1H or 30M and you use Daily S/R with Mid for entrances and exits. With the confirming sto 5 you enter when it bottoms by placing pendings at the next line up on the Daily S/R or the line it is at and TP at the next line. If a strong news or fundamental is at play you can play two line profits. I drew some lines to show you what i mean.

In this pic I post daily mid pivots on 1H and you can see lots of trades going from line to line. I then did my money management by breaking up my trades to .20 for first entrance to profit, .16 for 2nd entrances, and .12 for all levels after that. The more likely a reversal the lower the lot size.
