Right my RSI(2) for the EurGbp looks more or less the same. I'm talking about the ChfJpy and EurJpy where the Rsi(2) has plunged to 0.0000.
Clearly this is an error with the indicator.

Sto 5 (red) which follows price action mirrors more what you think the indi is suppose to be doing. RSI2 is doing what it is suppose to do and the STO 5 is doing what it is suppose to do.
Price action action also just crossed the daily pivot on the 1H chart so the read looks good to me.

2. If I get a peeker on first entrance i could take a 2nd further down and break even or small profit with a 2nd level.
Hi Bob, hope the holiday's going well, I heard there's a heatwave in the US. Seems like you couldn't quite switch the laptop off Really appreciate your time on this. I do have a couple of questions though.
Florida has been comfortable weather wise. Nanning was like living in an oven before we left so it is kind of funny saying the weather is much cooler here in Florida.
1. I didn't quite understand your second point, perhaps you could expand a little 10.4 Simple use the 240 line (2MA monthly) and the 60 line (2MA weekly) instead of CSS. So solid entrance points back into the trend are best when price moves in between the two lines or retraces back to the 60 line. This greatly reduces CPU usage and may give a clearer picture of when to reenter back into the trend. It may prevent some misreads off of the CSS
2. On the logistics of actually placing the trades, do you use any of the scripts? YES I place the trade on the daily lines P/S/R/Mids and now with one click trading I move the script TP to inside the next line for TP. I reset my scripts to TP 50 and SL 200 and then with one-click I reset them by moving the lines on the screen.
3. When you have the setup on 4H and 1H and place your pendings, I presume this means your placing all of the orders at once? In which case once the first order reaches the next line, the next order is fired and so on and so on. Then kill all the trades/pendings once price is stalling etc?
YES, I will set 1,2,3 trades depending on my read of the market or volatility of the pair. I set 3 gbp/nzd this morning and it hit the first trade TP within the hour and entered the second soon after. Now I wait. I can kill or wait on the 2nd trade depending on price action. When the jpy mid session hits I can decide to stay with the trade or kill it.

OK I am sure the programmer whizzes will research it. As long as i am with my laptop I am using RSI 2 and STO 5 in combo instead of CSS because this laptop seems not to like CSS very much so I have adapted.
cmeade2 wrote:This is a bug that happens every now and then for me. Basically, the H4 RSI(2) indicator in the template goes totally haywire and is incorrect. Here is a recent example from the ChfJpy. The price has been going up steadily, but the RSI(2) has plunged down. I know this is not correct because I have other ways of plotting RSI(2).
Any insights?

Just confirming that we are looking at the same chart ... 4H CHFJPY.
Mine is OK, and I have added Jemook's Rsi Visual for comparison.

There is obviously an error there. In addition to the side-by-side that Ingot posted, consider how RSI2 is calculated. It calculates an EMA of the RSI value. That means it CANNOT go instantly from 100 to 0. It has to approach it gradually, with the standard curved-to-pinned shape we're used to seeing.
If it goes from 100 instantly to 0, there's a bug in the calculation.
Steve was thoughtful enough to notice my problems with CPU, and PM'd me this one attached. It calculates the position of the CSS every 10 seconds, rather than on every tick.
I have also modified my own template, to reduce the number of bars that display the CSS on each chart, as well as reduce the number of bars displaying Rsi2 and Pivots. You can make further changes yourself to my template here attached:
#10.5 navy 5.02.tpl
I have moved this part of our conversation here, Jak, because we were off topic on the other thread.
If there way to add custom time when the position is calculated it will better solution i think so other trader who doesnt have good cpu can reduce the calculated maybe every 30sec or more
My cpu is i5 with 4Gb ram so i think its enough for me.. about the indicator i already have that.. but thank you for uploaded it for me..
