10.4 A Complete System

Here is the 1H chart gbp/nzd. I ended up with 4 trades for the day and almost 180 pips on a 150 pip move. Those 4 trades increased my account by .5% so they were nice ones. I have no more running on this pair at the moment.

Here’s what seems to me a fair summary of the quite-enlightening swap discussion:

There’s swap and there’s swap rate. Whilst swap rate remains the same across the board irrespective of leverage, swap must vary; increasing, the larger the leverage used.

What is displayed in the Empty4 Terminal is the swap (as opposed to the swap rate). With very small lots, its value may be so small as not to even register at all. As the lots increase in size however, it quickly grows, and will grow faster for the trader with the larger leverage than it will for the trader with the smaller leverage even when both trade the same lot sizes.

If you do not wish to pay (or earn) swap on some open position, you have until 5pm EST that day to close it.

If any of this is inaccurate, I hope someone will kindly point it out.

Yeah, thanks for finding the right words for the discussion. We were talking about apples and oranges but you explained the difference much better in fewer words.

I'm quite new here and learning 10.4 system. I downloaded system as instructed in "Go to my computer and open it" pdf. Journal tab is showing that its loaded successfully. However charts are not getting loaded with candlesticks, and indicators for a long time. I'm getting a message "Waiting for update". Attached screenshot for your reference.

Can anyone please help/guide me in this matter?

There is obviously an error there. In addition to the side-by-side that Ingot posted, consider how RSI2 is calculated. It calculates an EMA of the RSI value. That means it CANNOT go instantly from 100 to 0. It has to approach it gradually, with the standard curved-to-pinned shape we're used to seeing.

If it goes from 100 instantly to 0, there's a bug in the calculation.

Could RSI2 give reliable divergence signals? Each passing day I find RSI2 more mysterious. I´m not even sure recent bug is a bug. I prefer to think it is a magical forecast signal. We´ll see if tomorrow CHFJPY plunges...
