DOW BROKEN BELOW WP, SHORT TAKEN. 10.4 RULE.

The dow has broken back above the weekly pivot, trade closed with a small loss.

I find that without the SR element, I get more failures with 10.4/10.5 trades.

I posted this mod version of 10.4 trader sometime back trading H4 and H1 stochs and rsi on weekly pivots. One would have thought that with so many filters, there would not be too many trades. Not so.

This is the second week this mod ea is running. I will make sure it is not trading during high impact news like NFP, FOMC MEETING,INTEREST RATE DECISIONS OF CENTRAL BANKS.

So far, account balance up 10% in one and half weeks.

Overnight, the account balance is now up 14% and no DD.

The account got hit by 2% loss on a short trade on GBPUSD which shot up following better than expected services PMI.

Still up 12% with 0.4% floating DD.

Further update after close of trading this week.

The other version trading Daily pivots is up 6% with no DD.

Don't usually trade interest rate decisions, but both trades were in big DD. So, set SL just above 240ma.

BOE rate decision saved the day, GU fell sharply following the news, closed with 70 pips profit.

Same with EU, closed with 76 pips profit.

Could have gone the other way but got away this time.

Both GBPJPY and EURJPY have fallen sharply following central bank news.

I am long on both based on fundamental belief that the yen will weaken in the long run, and BOJ bond purchase in the first 10 days of the month, and both RSI pinned at the bottom, even though both are below 240ma.

10.4/10.5 setup for EURJPY LONG.

EURJPY is very volatile. When it gets moving, it can easily run 50 to 100 pips.

I am long USDJPY also. Remember BOJ buying bonds.
