New EURJPY and CHFJPY trades taken today.

Let's see whether NFP helps them or not :)

Cheers

Me too guys,
i had a single buy on GU yesterday and that got slaughtered eventually. Today, two terminals have made that loss back, and about 3 terminals losing. Just slightly.
2 days, so nothing to judge by yet.

The other terminals mostly have only got a buy on UC. The pictured above has the most trades.

How does one modify the unified set file to work with 15M timeframes? do I change the 1440 mins to 15?

Cheers!!

Yeah, change the 1440's to 15, the 240's to 5, and the W1's to 1440... There's a few other things that need adjusting too, like Virtual Stoploss, which is obvious, and a few others that aren't quite so obvious, (well, for me, anyways).

I had a good run at the start of the week on M15, but Marylin took it all back - and then some - by the end of the week.

I need to get my head around the parameters, and learn what to change, and by how much.

Have fun!

You might shorten the timers as well
DeltaTimeLiveTrades=86400; 24H min between two live trades.
DeltaTimeHistoTrades=14400; 4H min between last closed trade and the new one.

Yeah, change the 1440's to 15, the 240's to 5, and the W1's to 1440...
I'm wondering whether the W1's should be changed to 30 (instead of 1440) [ since M30 is the higher TF to M15, as W1 is to D1... ]

Mapping:
W1 --> M30 [30]
D1 --> M15 [15]
H4 --> M5 [5]

Also, in addition to the ones Niepce has pointed out above, you can consider checking these:

a) StochLevelMaxToTrade = Upper stoch boundary to allow a long order. Automatically revert for shorts.

b) StochOBOSToMoveSL = Upper stoch boundary to set SL to BE if crossed, for long orders. Automatically revert for shorts.

c) StochH4LevelMax = Upper stoch boundary if using the H4 stoch option. More reactive. Probable more false positives, though.

d) UseStochD1slowToFilterTrade = Only take orders if immediate slow stoch slope in agreement.

e) UseStochH4ToTakeTrade = Enable Stoch H4 instead of D1.

f) DeltaPipsFromSRZoneToTakeTrade = How near is the next most-hit SR zone. Below this value, trade won't occur.

g) UseRSI_W1_ToTrade = Weekly range filter toggle.

h) ValeurRSI_W1_ToTrade = Upper boundary. Lower is computed internally.

i) UseRSI_W1_ToCloseTrade = Weekly range filter trade closure toggle. Will close open trades if market start to range again.

j) ValeurRSI_W1_ToCloseTrade = See above, same idea.

In creating the unified set, I opened the given pair's charts ( D1, W1) and placed the Stoch's and RSI and tried to determine values that would have worked for long/short trades. Then when I had the values for each pair, I decided to 'harmonize' ( rough 'best case' ) to keep things simple.

Attached: thought process & findings during this time ( + params explanation ). Hope it comes in handy.

Cheers!

Hi Dudest

Good stuff ! some precision :
e) UseStochH4ToTakeTrade = Enable Stoch H4 instead of D1
Should not be "instead" but also
Param OK for AUDUSD which STOCH D1 too quickly go to OBOS zone
b) StochOBOSToMoveSL = Upper stoch boundary to set SL to BE if crossed, for long orders. Automatically revert for shorts.
Move SL on best OpenPrice not BE. To use with DeltaPipsMoveSLOnStoch paramaters
-> ProfitInPips need a minimum to move SL on Best Open Price after Stoch reach OBOS zone
