I have been trying to incorporate SR indicator into Multi 10.4 trader to trade 10.5 SR rules, so far without any success.
I would like to invite any coders passing by to give it a try, and share your modification.

Re: Supply Demand EA
If you count the number of ea's in Steve's forum, how many of them are profitable if run 24/5 and during high impact news. Not too many I think.
I would suggest you become the brains behind the ea.
Spend a few minutes each day before start of trading and go through all the charts that you are trading to see you should add/remove any pairs from trading that day.
I normally would review all the charts very quicky at NY close each day to decide on the pairs to trade the next day. If I see consolidation or trend change, I would remove the pair for the next day. Most my ea's are trend traders including 10.4. So, if a pair is not trending, how do you expect it will give you any profits ? It is sheer common sense.
However,if you spot a pair is ranging, then use your ranging ea like Steve's Gday MK2 to trade that pair.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A SET AND FORGET EA. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A GENIUS TO NOTICE THAT IT DOES NOT EXIST BECAUSE FOREX MARKET KEEPS CHANGING ALL THE TIME.
IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO PUT IN SOME WORK, HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO MAKE ANY PROFITS ?

Re: Supply Demand EA
The AUDUSD and NZDUSD were my bankers in JUNE.
As long as the Chinese economy continue to struggle, I will continue to look for opportunty to sell both from resistance when 10.4/105 SR conditions are met.

Re: Supply Demand EA
If I am rushed for time, I would simple use H1 chart with 960ma, zoom out.
It would become quite obvious if a currency pair is trending, ranging or consolidating.

Re: Supply Demand EA
I am afraid the mod ea failed miserably today. It lost 14% of equity.fx8000 wrote:After two weeks of demo, this mod ea has gained 18%, no DD.
I meant to stop the ea before NFP but forgot. It gained 6% after the news.
Even 12% gain after two weeks is quite satisfactory.
Just in case anyone would like to try it on demo, I have uploaded the mod ea again below.
To run the mod ea, you have to follow the steps set out on page one of Mr Long's Multi 10.4 trader thread. Unzip the Multi Final v1.31 folder, run the setup.exe application which will install all the necessary files in your Empty4 platform except the dll file which is too large to upload to Steve's forum web page and has to be downloaded from the web page indicated on page one. The dll file goes into the Empty4/experts/libraries folder.
It was selling AUDCHF and NZDCHF. If you check the CSS info, for today AUD and NZD are the two stronger currencies and CHF is the weakest.
So, back to the drawing board !
Perhaps, the only way to succeed with this ea is to use it as a semi auto ea.
At the start of trading day, pick three strongest currencies and match them aginst the three weakest, and trade only nine pairs, and ignore the rest.

Re: Supply Demand EA
The three strongest currencies as of now are NZD, AUD and USD.
Three weakest are CHF, JPY and GBP.
BUY NZDCHF, AUDCHF, USDCHF, NZDJPY, AUDJPY, USDJPY.
SELL GBPNZD, GBPAUD, GBPUSD.
WHEN 10.5 SR CONDITIONS ARE MET.
Slight modification to 10.5 SR rules. Sell when price is below 240LWMA and stoch OB. Buy when price is above 240LWMA and stoch OS. H1 TIME FRAME.
Bob recently introduced the 60LWMA on the H4 CHART.
240LWMA ON H1 = 60LWMA ON H4 = 2LWMA ON WEEKLY.

Re: Supply Demand EA
The Multi 10.4 trader mod failed miserably today because of the 240ma filter.
I have replaced it with a 60 LWMA filter.

This a.m. AUD strongest, CHF weakest.
Buy AUDCHF when 10.5 SR mod conditions met.
Price above 240ma, stoch OS, pending order at sup_hi.
