Trend Trading (Bob's Blue Print)

Post by nhtngn85 »

Hi, Everybody. First i want to say thank you to Steve and Bob. My English is really bad so please forgive me about Grammar or my incomplete sentences.

* I been trading for about 2 years, but trading is never going anywhere. I been following the Andy Bob 10.4 EA, traded with steady return.

* I learned a lot when i monitor 10.4 EA and slowly learning why it sometime made a big drawdown.

So i took Bob ideas, Pipseasy Idea, and my knowledge about market structures from Timothy Morge and make it into a strategy.

Basicly it goes like this
* we use 4hrs chart as a main.
+ Components 240 LWMA,
+ market Structures.
* 1Hr Chart for ENTRY and pyramiding.
240LWMA * 4= 960LWMA
240LWMA

ENTRY :
1/ Long only if price above 960LWMA, 240 LWMA as measure the speed of the market movement , also maybe use for stop loss and take profit.
2/ Short only if price belove 960 LWMA

If Condition 1 OR 2 satisfied
+ Use break out swing high or low, trendline break, price retrace to 240LWMA for entry with stop loss behind swing if can afford.

PYRAMIDING.
* Everytime market makes a swing and retrace check Condition 1 and 2 again and repeat
+ Use break out swing high or low, trendline break, price retrace to 240LWMA for entry with stop loss behind swing if can afford.

TAKE PROFIT:
* FOR lONG As long as price is above 240LWMA and trending(240 >960), we keep adding postion .
If price break 240LWMA be caution (Price may be going into a range) .Take 50% profit and wait if price going down to 960LWMA, BE prepare to take the rest. Rinse and wait for trend reversal.
* Opposite for short

I WANTED TO SHARE MY TRADES AND KEEP THIS AS A JOURNAL

Thanks for this.

Your charts are confusing, with a number of unexplained lines whose presence you do not explain and with no indication when you took the trade.

Perhaps you could clear out the irrelevant clutter and include and guide where you took the trade?

:D
Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

Those lines are just for me to read the swings. These trades are just based on swings got broken.

Your idea is good, Nhtngn85. And there are plenty of members who would like to follow along and perhaps learn something from your approach and your strategy.

Why not continue, but add as much explanation as you can as you go, to make it interesting and easy to replicate for your readers? There are 4 or 5 posts in your thread, but already 86 views as I write. That should tell you that you have an interested audience.

Go for it.
