Re: 10.4 A Complete System
From the desk of John Maudin, What to expect this summer:
… if the recent global equity market sell-off can be laid at the feet of the 100bp move higher in US bond yields, it is hard to know how another 50bp increase in real rates will be digested.
US investors might not have noticed, but there is carnage scattered here and there on the world's markets, and not just the equity markets. The central banks of the world, in their furious attempts to promote stability through easy-money policies, have cooked up a witches' brew of instability of unknown quantity and contents. There is no set formula for this concoction; they are making it up as they go along. Anything that seems to calm the storm momentarily becomes the order of the day. Bernanke hints at the mere possibility of less easing (not tightening, God forbid!), something that we all know must happen at some point, and the market throws up and half a dozen Fed governors go on the air to say "Not really … maybe … we are going to be cautious … we'll go slow … no one wants to do anything rash" – etc. It was almost comical.
Thus we can expect a volatile summer (as the interns man the trading desks),
What to do. Use less risk by trading smaller lots or fewer trades. One of the reasons i taught hooks was so you can trade beyond the S1/R1 levels. Let the hooks show you price is going to continue to run beyond those lines.
happy trading.

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
No problem with the English. I knew some of you would catch on real quick. I trade the hook 3 levels using Daily S/R/P/M. First I trade the level back to the bottom/top for a double top. Then i set the next two trades at the levels as they continue the hook. This way I get most of the move. So far so good. If it continues I will call this 10.4 simple. It is just another way of using CSS information. If the 2 or 3 weakest/strongest are hooking keep trading. You better be careful what you say though because if my wife hears, "Look at all those beautiful hookers", I may get my self in a lot of trouble.nhtngn85 wrote:Thank you so much for your system. I love your system so much. Buy a hook above the 240 line. The 60 LWMA on the 4H is the 2MA weekly. It helps you to find the hooks since many finish forming around that line. I transfer this to 1 chart which is 240 LWMA and 960, and been trading buy the dip and sell the rally and keep holding the position until it reverse to 960 LWMA. BOB you gave me the blue print and i build a decent house. Thanks again and Sorry for my English.nanningbob wrote:Here are buy hooks. They are a reverse of the fishing hook upside down. Re: 10.4 A Complete System
AUDJPY is trying to break the range box to the up side, but the breakout is not convincing. In the daily chart the recent move up seems the typical retrace before resuming the way down. 240 is telling you is still eaerly to be bullish. If price reaches 93.900 that would be a clear bullish signal, until then I should stay out.kundanketki wrote:Taking long even though price is below 240 MA for below reasons.

Also CSS1.07 is red and lines moving apart suggesting further momentum to the downside.kundanketki wrote:Taking long even though price is below 240 MA for below reasons.

It just plunged. I always check out daily chart before taking a trade to see the 200 SMA daily. In this case, 200 acted (almost right to the pip) as a perfect resistance, sending the price down again.

10.4 Crazy summer version:
Buy above 60 LWMA
Sell below 60 LWMA
Ignore the rest of the stuff until september. 240 is perfect for 3 months trends. We are under a 3 weeks trend scenario. Any talk from any central bank jerk can reverse the trend in minutes. I ll work that hooks bouncing the 60 and forget the rest.
