I have been playing around with an idea that may be promising. I want to try to code an EA to do some back testing to see if it warrants further study. I am stuck on one of the conditions I want to check before taking a trade:


For one of the conditions, I want to look at whether the stochastic line is outside the Bollinger Bands of the stochastic. I have noticed that ZZ tops and bottoms are more robust and price will almost always reverse to the middle band of the BB (of price) if both 1 EMA and stochastic (of BB) are outside the bands when the ZZ top or bottoms occur. I can do that on a chart but have no idea how to write the code to check that condition
