Interesting, GT3RS. Did you get this pattern from Trader Dante(on twitter)/the_wizard (from FF) ? If I recall, he was the 1st person that introduce this pattern and sharing it to public.GT3RS wrote:Hi all,
I would really appreciate it if someone could code an indicator for a pattern I am working with.
It's called a swing failure pattern or SFP for short.
Basically, say we have a high on our charts.
A swing failure would be when price drops away from the first high and then comes back to re-test it. the retest BREAKS the previous high, but then closes BELOW the previous high.
Reverse for swing failure low.
There needs to be at least 10 candles between the original high/low and the SFP high/low.
I've attached a couple of charts to show what I mean. Ideally I would like arrows to pick these patterns out, so I can scan my charts better, and continue to develop what I'm working on.
It would be good if it could somehow be multi timeframe as well!
And of course, I'm happy to share the strategy when it comes to fruition!!![]()

Although I'm sure that by just looking at the charts posted below, you will see why I am interested in these patterns!!!![]()

How shameless Rob, you couldn't even be bothered to think of your own name for the idea you are passing off and are too clueless learn to code yourself.GT3RS wrote:Hi all,
