A while ago, there was a thread on FF (CICR System - http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=317893) which also used this information....

1. This post (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread. ... ost5003795)has the mindex v1.1 indicator - the following post confirms that values are identical to the LiteForex values, so you do not actually need the LiteForex platform (that's why I never bothered to install it either)

2. When looking for that indicator I came across this post (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread. ... ost5045949) which contains an index indicator that is said to allow the application of CCI, RSI,Momentum,MACD,Stochastic... I have to admit that I missed that one at that time, so will give it a whirl.....

I have thought for quite a while w/r it would not make sense to apply NB's findings directly on the currency indices rather than using the combination of two currencies in the form of the corresponding pair but frankly, I got sidetracked....

Definitely not "core NB" but maybe useful for somebody....

Agree Mop ... I still look at the indices ... and believe we could gain from further work on it.

If someone started a thread on this, I would take part, but contented to get better with NB as it is for now.

i've been using the Sig trader for indices for a long time now. I don't see much merit in applying the 10x template to the indices. Only adds to more study than any conclusive results. Rather, trading the opposing strength and weakness would give better utilisation of time for it. I was an active member of the Cicr thread over at FF. The experience was good while i was at it. Gradually, things changed and we moved ahead & away to pursue our individual goals, mainly due to communication gap. It would be a real good addition to SHF if FM (Forex Mechanics, that's the name they go by nowadays) were to join here. I did poke them twice about it and they did what suited them best. No love lost with them.

I have had some requests for it - it's identical to Bob's except I have reduced the CSS to 50 bars and the Pivots/RSI2 to 100 bars. You can change them back easily enough - but the way I have it saves heaps of CPU.

On the 1H TF:

I noticed because of the navy-blue background, the black text of the DP's - (DMS's and DMR's) was all-but-invisible. I have simply changed the colour from Black to Gold, meaning all Pivots are now marked as Gold.

All Pivots are now visible on the 1H and 4H TF.

My apologies for not picking up on that earlier.

In these 7 pairs I can only spot 1 possible trade on AUDUSD. Is this correct?
