Don't know what this refers to but I can state that every time I produce an EA from my shell code, both I as the coder and the person who asks for the ea benefits immeasurably from Paul's work. I cannot remember the last time that one of my public or private ea's did not include his unbelievable contributions.

That is before we start to think about Paul's fantastic contributions to Bob's work - not sure where 10.x would be without it.

Returning briefly to my EA's, there is even better stuff coming up - again courtesy of this remarkably talented and generous human being.

Paul, we all owe you a lot. Thank you, my friend.

Hi Paul,

I've been testing MPBM on demo and live and I believe I've found a really dangerous bug with it.

But if MPBM is used to manage trades (using magic + comments) made by EA, let's call it myEA, it might happen that MPBM tries to close all trades matching the exit conditions (ex. based on magic + comments + cash profit) while myEA keeps on opening new trades because market meets its entry conditions too.

Hopefully I've described the problem good enough. can this be fixed? Thanks.

* Having said that, I believe MPBM will work just fine if used to manage manual trades. The only potential trouble is when it's being used to manage trades opened by other EAs.

Hello all,

I have a couple of questions please regarding the MPBM EA for Baluda (or anyone else who can assist):

1. For the stop loss parameter "PipsStopLoss", do I have to put a minus before the value I am inputting, for example if I wanted a stop loss in pips of 560, do I just input 560 or -560?

2. When I attached the EA to a chart, the stop loss figure (let's say 560 for example) which I inputted as 560 in the "PipsStopLoss" parameter just kept changing from a positive number to negative number (560 to -560) for some reason. Not sure whether the EA is working properly.

What I would like is set max bars= 20, so I can build a template whereby I have 4 different CSS displays in 4 different TFs in the same window.

Also what is the refresh rate here, and can it be changed?

horizontalShift does not do anything in CSS, it is only used in multi-column indicators like SlopeValues.

Putting 4 different CSS indicators on one chart should not be problem except for rresource use.

What do you mean be 'refresh rate'?

Thanks for the quick, succinct reply.

1. So how do I get 4 TF displays of your excellent CSS on same chart window? I had posted my problem earlier, with a hanover (FF) response:

2. By refresh rate, I mean how often does the chart refresh. Mostly folks like hanover (on the RS indi) leave it as 1 minute auto update, with choice of TF sync. Every tick update will of course kill the CPU.

3. Now that I have your attention and the fact of horShift for multi-column displays, maybe this is the answer to my other tmaslope arrow dashboard display problem that needs 4x CPU because the template creates 4 columns (4x 7 visible entries= 28 pairs) out of 4 instances running.
The regular 1 column vertical display is ill suited with multiple windows. Originally from Armen:

With above update and your CSS with maxbars=20 and 4 TF displays, my 1.7GHz, 2GB RAM Acer laptop ought to handle it
