If you speak at least a bit of German, you'll enjoy this example of how gigantic German words get invented:

Trader turns $1,500 to $1 million in 3 years

From cnn.com

About three years ago, Tim Grittani decided to begin trading stocks with his life savings of $1,500. Today, the 24-year-old's portfolio is worth more than $1 million. How did he do it? Not by buying and selling stocks of large and well-known companies like Apple (AAPL, Fortune 500) or Ford (F, Fortune 500). Instead, Grittani trades penny stocks -- very small companies that typically have a price below $1. He's the first to admit that it's a risky strategy. And it's not for everyone. "I've been trading every single day for almost three years, and it's been a slow, day-to-day process,"

Comments about this news:
Thats nothing. Tell us stories about traders who turned $ 1 million to $1,500 in 3 years so that we can cry together.
Hahaha... Why they don't tell us about that...
If they make a stories about $ 1 million to $ 1,500, there will be hundreds or thousands story.
I made 100 into a couple million once. No kiddig. But it was from dollar into indonesian rupee! still it was a couple million
I turned $1000 into $14000 trading stocks then decided that Forex would be the way to go, I bought into a program put up $1500 built it to $12000 then on one trade finished with $800. I am thinking that I should go back to stocks
anyone has done this with forex in a 3 year period?
Bankers do it everyday - but you are on the other side of the trade
