Re: 10.4 A Complete System
hi guys, holiday time, so things very quite, re GBPNZD and EURNZD, i look at the dashboard every morning, and those two pairs the rsi, was in the wrong place so no set ups, but they both took off, there was no set ups at all, i think the audnzd was the only pair that i could see where the rsi was pinned at the top, but the short trade never triggered, i think september thing should start to pick up, only my thoughts, in the meantime a bit of scalping maybe

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
School started for me yesterday so that is finally out of the way. My tests are very encouraging I have done over 1% profit every single day since last Thursday and I have missed a bunch of trades I could have taken. I am trading conservatively at four cents per thousand of account. I will post a test copy this weekend for you to try.peranders wrote:Awesome thank you very much.nanningbob wrote:I am testing 10.4 with a 10.3 hybrid. It seems to work quite well in choppy markets and has a much tighter stop loss. I blended it with a sto indi that gives trade warnings both entrances and exits. I am trying to set it up so you are playing with 2:1 and 3:1 trade ratios. You still will have the 10.4 info page but I wanted something that wouldn't rely on CSS on every currency page. Trying to unbog my laptop computer. I understand now what some guys are going through with the heavy load CSS has on their computers. The fundamental of the system is the 240 with a 30 or 60 MA SL waiting for the sto to line up and trade crossing over the DP line. Testing it now and see what happens.Ingot54 wrote:Bob - are you planning an overhaul of 10.4?
Market conditions are difficult at times, but the combo of 10.4/10.5 is pretty good.
CSS info page is invaluable for trying to predict the future.

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
here is a pic of the system buy crossing the DP. The Sto indi will give a trade signal every time it crosses the 80 60 going up and 40 20 lines going down. The Sto crosses are similar to the CSS crosses on the individual accounts but earlier signal. You then trade as price crosses WP and DP. Blue lines are TP targets. This blends 10.3 with 10.4 and tightens the SL area. If price crosses DP and then retraces you dont need to be in the trade anyway.

Seems nice Bob! Do you prefer this to the "classic" 10.3? I've just found it and still reading the booklet but I'm impressed with the simplicity and logic rules. It's almost like we were trading with a traffic light telling us when and where to go...nanningbob wrote:here is a pic of the system buy crossing the DP. Good luck with your classes and school management.

Finally read from the page 468 and the booklets while taking notes, what a 4 day ride! Thank you so much Bob and everyone, this is really exciting! Now today is time to try to make something out of all this knowledge. PS: VirtualFM, where from Portugal are you? I'm an Alentejano

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
I developed 10.3 as a scalping system but I am a 4H trader. I can only get to my computer every 4-8 hours so scalping is not my style. I seem to have been able to blend 10.3 into 10.4 with some adjustments so you will be able totrade 4H charts like I do but swing down to lower charts for some quickies during rough patches like this summer has been. My 2nd goal was to get a CSS alternative that was consistant and the Sto set up seems to work. When I write my booklet you will be able to see how they compare. I hope to do that this weekend. Other than that it is typical 10.4 fair. sell below 240 buy above 240 30 MA can be your SL line on any TF. You can also try CT trading when price goes below 30MA but I am not going to write about that. Experienced traders will see trades at that point. I am having fun with this after a rough summer of walking in the mud. I probably had more SL hits than my last two years put together. LOL I may count them just to see how many I hit. The bottom line is though my account is intact and still ready to trade. I basically have traded even since the middle of June but finally broke out last week when I changed to this. Works much better in choppy markets. Up over 6% since last Thursday with almost no DD.Nidolap wrote:Seems nice Bob! Do you prefer this to the "classic" 10.3? Re: 10.4 A Complete System
Thanks Bob
You are always working to improve things - much appreciated.
I can see that the melding of the best bits of your strategy is going to bear fruit. And it is because only you know the best bits to blend. In the changing markets it is good to keep ahead, using strategies that work.
I am sure this latest approach will be another good arrow in the quiver, for when markets are not suiting the other strategies.

Thanks for sharing and thanks for sharing your losses (I no longer feel like the Lone Ranger!) It looks like your yellow DP corresponds to the WR1. I just added the 30MA/Sto 7,2,2 & removed the RSI & CSS to a current 10.4/5 chart. It looks like todays DP is about 1.3367 and so is the 30MA (above price) - would this negate a pending at the DP?nanningbob wrote:here is a pic of the system buy crossing the DP.
