No SL set by the EA.

I am using the ATR Stop Loss settings.

I did not expect to be able to sort this out until tomorrow, but I saw the bloop as soon as I looked at the code. I had enclosed the ATR conditional within the conditional that checked that StopLossPips > 0, so when SLP = 0 the ATR sl did not kick in.

Fixed in V 1s in post 1. If you do not use ATR for your stop, you do not need the update.

I suggest you all download the update guys. At some stage, you will lose contact with the update that was/was not essential to you, and land yourselves with a version that is not trading as expected. I would not even begin to contemplate trading BASA on my live account without all the latest fixes.

Hi shelley - after updating to 1q (and now 1s) BASA is now taking trades as expected.
Like you I have opted for ATR stop loss.
Thanks to you and others for your input.

Ok, I've had a busy weekend reviewing BASA...I'm still really happy with the progress being made and the way the EA is behaving. I'm also feeling quite confident the EA will perform well once the markets pick up after the northern summer holidays.

With that being said, I'm sure we're still missing out on some potentially good trades mainly in relation to the re-entry trades.

To that end I have set up 2 new demo's to run side by side with some new configurations (I'll share in a couple of weeks if they do as well as I expect).

So now I have the following demo's set up:

Shelley, hi!

Top marks for the work you have done developing this!

I'm able to understand everything so far except one thing; so I'd like to ask what may well be a dumb question - but it has me totally stumped!

When you say that your BE is +2 30; what does that relate to, please? .

Thanks. Cheers :D

Hi Doc,

I think you will find it means that when a trade is 30 pips in profit a stop loss is set at positive 2 pips.

So eg: buy at 1.0020 when price at 1.0050 SL is set at 1.0022

Cheers...Ted
