Re: 10.5 for monkeys
I've been monkeying around back testing this on several pairs. Running it on my demo and it looks better and better. Thanks Zen.

Re: 10.5 for monkeys
All the pairs that the CSS ASSISTANT suggests we IGNORE actually didn't move much with exception of EURJPY and CHFJPY. If you had followed the above suggestions yesterday and incorporated the 10.5 for monkeys trading plan, you would be sitting on a profit.zentauro67 wrote:Forexdj sent me a kind of css for monkeys taken from Pips400 css assistant.
At the moment I received it I was observing something curious in the chart. EURUSD y AUDCAD were showing same converging triangles on the daily pivot. My feeling was that a triangle converging on a pivot demands more patience before the entry. It is not enough a body closing above the pivot. The triangle demands some kind of breakout of the upper line before the entry. Anyway, this kind of constrained price action around the pivot is always to be avoided.
Then, taking a look to this CSS for monkeys, I saw the reason behind these triangles. AUD CAD are both going up in CSS daily. So, they are ranging, converging around the pivot, forming a triangle. Same for EURUSD. Both in the same direction = No trend
Forexdj adapted the assistant to underline the pairs to be avoided (rangers). Maybe later, we could have a simple Info page showing the pairs to be ignored.
This is my suggestion for trading the 10.5 for monkeys:
1. Use the Daily CSS Assistant to get the Daily BIAS of a pair.
2. If the DAILY BIAS is LONG and the currency is above 240LWMA, we wait for the first White Heiken Candle to close ABOVE Pivot Line then we go LONG.
3. If the DAILY BIAS is SHORT and the currency is below 240LWMA, we wait for the first Red Heiken Candle to close BELOW Pivot Line then we go SHORT.
4. IGNORE all the pairs that the CSS BIAS tells us to IGNORE. If you choose to trade these pairs, do it conservatively.
(Am still figuring out how to exit the trades)
