George,

This is below a screen shot of 5 indicators on the same graph.

From the left to the right : 7200 (weekly), 1440 (daily), 240 (4 hours), 60 (1 hour), 15 (15 minutes)

This is a redoutable patterns hunter your multi time frame tool !

We are going to timing exactly our purchase by buying at lower price and selling at higher price (or buying dips and selling rallies).

THANKS to be you (if my English is correct  )

God bless you all,

Angel

George,

5 minutes after having repositionned the 5 indicators in the graph.

Thanks,

Give this one a shot. There was a defect in the last one. Weird one to find, too.

OK, I posted too soon. This version allows you to toggle the numeric display of the net longs / net shorts as well as toggle the display of the center line (both marked with blue triangles).

George, this indi of yours is kicking ars!
I said I would come back with a few findings, but the version changed so much since Sunday that my blurb below is now irrelevant. Here it is anyway FWIW:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I’ve been comparing the following 2 indis :

George indi (Sunday’s version) with NormalizeLotSize set to False
George indi (Sunday’s version) with NormalizeLotSize set to True
Orest indi

I realise that Goerge’s (test) indi has evolved since I started the
comparison last Sunday.

1) Comparing both settings of George’s indi: wheter the NormalizeLotSize
is set to True or False, both versions are pretty consistent with the
trend display (Long strong….). However, there may be shift in the
pairs order. But nothing substantial such as a BUY is a SELL in the
other setting. The NormaliseLotSize set to False gave me better
results (only based on 3 trades performed on each version).
2) The trend indication is often different from the Orest. I find
George’s indi to be more reliable. Also, I tested with the 10 pairs
(not the 14) and when we configure Orest to use 10 pairs, it still
keeps 14 positions and there seem to be redundancies of pair display
which I think interfere with the accuracy of the indicator.
3) The pairs displayed (for a specific TF) in Orest may also be in a
different sequence (from 1 to 10) when comparing to George’s indi.
Again, George’s indi was more reliable (I compared with real trades).
4) I personally like the fact that you can switch the TF to whatever you
want with George’s indi (including a specific time).
5) The only positive aspect of Orest (and this is purely personal) is
the “one snap view” message brought by the indi. At a glance
(absolutely no analysis required), it is obvious what the indi is
telling me. I see (let’s say) all the green color below the mid-line
with a Long Strong message. When I see this, I don’t hesitate and
trade Long. But I think this aspect of George’s indi has evolved
since then.

Again, this is my personal preferences (or usage of the indi), but I barely
look at the number beside the pairs. I really use this indi to “study” the
movement of a pair through several timeframe. I just need to know where the
trend was and where is it going. I look at my top 4 favourite pairs and
study how they travel through time. Goerge’s indi gives me that information
very accurately. I understand the numbers are important, but they are not
my main focus.

Conclusion: My goal was to use only one indi and I feel very confident
about making the switch from Orest to George’s indi with NormalizeLotSized
set to False.

Thanks for the update. Sorry the indi's been a bit of a moving target -- it wasn't my plan either! :D

Hello George,

thanks for that great indi !! Would it be possible to add another column next to one with the positive / negative profit ? The new column should show the pips the pairs made at present starting from the anchor time point. So one can see the fast moving pairs and enter a trade when a pair made 20 pips for example without opening all the single charts.

Thanks & sorry for my bad english

I see through this and other threads relating to Pitbull the term "fast moving"

Is fast the correct term or are we trying to find the currency that has moved the most and that could be over a longish period of time

OR

have I completely misunderstood

George,

i ve got another question. I opened a basket today at 3:00am and set the anchor time in the indicator to 3:00am too.

now look at the screenshot. The indicator and the basket aren't equal. The indi shows other values and the positions of the pairs arent the same. Is there something wrong ?

Thanks, Tex
