U guys might have hit gold! For thr fun of it, I stuck this in a competition and it's now sitting in 1000+ profit! Just going to let it do it's thing and see what happens

I have BE set to 30 with +2. From there I have a jumping stop of 50 pips.

The final trade in that pic I just posted closed at +2. I assume the basket breakeven line has reset appropriately - don't know but the code should have taken care of it.

So, my question is this: once BASA is in basket mode, what should happen to individual trade stop losses and management features?

- pretty good point that Steve!! imo once a basket is formed it needs its own a trailing stop and tp feature (MPBM type thing?). Adaptive TP/SL/Jumping stops are in MPBM and always made sense to me.

Shelley's EA though so just my opinion.

Not sure if anyone else had this occur, but I quickly put v1v on my Demo 1 charts this morning and just as quickly took it off again. The EA drew the breakeven line on charts where there was only 1 trade (this occurred on 7 different charts), and subsequently closed all 7 trades at a small loss. See below my audjpy charts I had running. I left the stackbreakeven settings at default.

Current open trades with BASA Demo 1...over 1700 green pips and lost hundreds of pips this morning with the glitch in the EA

If you want a job doing properly, give Steve some money, send him to the movies and hire in someone with a firing synapse.

Those of you who can, find this comment line in void CountOpenTrades(), at the end of the function:
//Stacked basket
The next line of code is:
if (OpenTrades > 0)

Change it to:
if (OpenTrades > 1)
then recompile.

For the rest of you, the fix is in post 1 - no version number change.

I have updated my charts with the amended v1v and stackbreakeven line looks like it is being drawn correctly now

I think once the stack commences (so 2 or more trades), then everything needs to be contained within the basket. The stackbreakeven line is drawn at x adaptive pips above the calculated break even...perhaps just a simple basket trailing stop would work from that point.

It seem's to me that it would be quite a complex piece of coding (not actually even sure if it would be possible) that would be able to convert the single trades into a basket, delete individual SL's and incorporate a basket trailing stop. Perhaps a good trail would be to trail price by 50 pips (or equivalent to what the jumping stop is set at??

Look at the nzdusd chart below...5 trades are open (so max trades), stackbreakevenline drawn, however trades will all close well before price gets back to the stackbreakeven line as each individual stop loss has still been set. If a basket trailing stop was implemented the stacktakeprofit line would be slightly above the highest SL line currently shown on the chart, which would be ideal in my opinion.
