New today - for me a significant one, although i had a workaround already - it was clear it was possible internally, but not exposed properly in the cAlgo API - until now (which means it should work consistenly)

Multi-symbol Robots and Indicators

New methods in the API allow you to use multiple symbols, including OHLCV series. It is also possible to trade multiple symbols.

Looks like some limits though:

Robots and indicators can now access data series of multiple timeframe for the same symbol. Backtesting for this feature and ability to access data series for multiple symbols will be implemented later.

This has been around a while - but its still a worthwhile update

Period of backtesting is expanded to 2.5 years for the major currency pairs. We plan to expand it more in future.

I guess I could start rewriting though and then *wait* until the backtesting with access to multiple currencies gets here.. or hope it gets implemented just when I'm done

Do you know how fast these "future implementations" are developed on average? I mean.. do they implement what they promise?

Until 2 weeks ago i would have been pessimistic as i had seen many promises but little action. But then finally something did change. The main problem is the lack of a roadmap, together with the fact that EVERYTHING is promised soon - but they seemed to deliver eventually this time at least, so maybe a sign for optimism :

Saying that they are a private company and are allowed to prioritise their own development accordingly - I just personally wish i could see what those priorities are. Theu do at least seem to be better than Metaquotes in that the software look to be targetting the needs of the trader instead of the broker. I guess its a case of limited resources and scheduling
