I had a long EurAud too as was expecting it to break the 240MA, hit TP so I'm out now.
Btw, the stoch indicator shows that EurAud is on a long-term uptrend, despite price below MA line.
I guess I'm trying to say the MA line is a lagging indicator, hence take it with a pinch of salt.

It is why I added the 60 or weekly trend. You can catch the reversal and not hang onto the sell or buy too long. I have been in the gbp/nzd reversal for its 300 pip run now and has the perfect 1, 2, 3 swing trade going on on the 4 H chart. If it breaks the 240 line also I will really catch this one for a long run. Getting close.6y588 wrote:I had a long EurAud too as was expecting it to break the 240MA, hit TP so I'm out now.

My eur/cad gbp/cad call earlier in the day are really paying off. This is going to be a good day for me.

Not saying that anything is wrong with your system as I learned a great deal from it (kudos to you).
Just saying that every indicator has its strengths and limitations and we should be aware of them. It took me a while to learn this.
Btw, I am still stuck on NB 10.5 as it is working for me with stoch and HA indicators. Is there anybody using NB 10.5?
Today was a good day with Gbp/Usd and Eur/Aud trades, but missed out on the Cad crosses.

So is the stochastic and pretty much any other indicator out there. It doesn't mean they can't be helpful though.6y588 wrote:

Agreed. I think the only indicators without lag are the Jurik and Ehler's indicators. Have you used them? (Anyway another topic for another thread)spotdespot wrote:So is the stochastic and pretty much any other indicator out there. It doesn't mean they can't be helpful though.6y588 wrote:

Google should find it, but I don't think it's free. Just be careful of some cheaper imitations.tibochina wrote:Where can these be found?

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
Looking to the daily charts as you have suggested previously Bob, this trade is really setting up nicely. NZD angling down and GBP angling up on daily CSS, STOCH moving past 80 and price crossing the 240 back into the long term UT. I profited on the EUR/NZD, EUR,AUD and GBP/CAD trades this morning as well. "EDSEL" is doing his job very well indeed. Thanks for all of your efforts in perfecting it.nanningbob wrote:It is why I added the 60 or weekly trend. You can catch the reversal and not hang onto the sell or buy too long.
