I figured your "2" "StopTradingLocalHour" comes out to 2.5hrs after NYSE opened, My "Trading Hours" '+00:15,-15:00' Interpreted as: start trading 45 min before Tokyo opened and stop trading half hour after NYSE opened. 1st I need to thank you for this brilliant EA
I think the main issue: it's not set and forget EA.
yesterday it took many trades and overall they were in profit +200 pips
you don't have to let ot go the whole way, you might need to close the trades manually after 3 or 4 hrs.
And we're using 4hr charts so we don't need the huge initial sl. All loser trades that I closed manually (after couple of hours) didn't change direction, they remaind losers.

Main trades are always winners for very good profits, but re entries are 60/40
We can improvise like mr Bob and close the trades manually after 4 hr from the beginning of each session (or after taking the trade)
I'll keep testing and will go live by the end of this month using this EA.
Yesterday the news initiated 2 trades and they were in profit and I closed them manually before the correction occured.

Now I have just got home from a busy day at work and I'm not as patient as I might otherwise be and I have just read your post above, so as the developer of this strategy and in conjunction with Steve's excellent coding & input from some other very experienced traders, I'd like to thank you for your detailed analysis after a comprehensive 24 hours of trading, but would like to suggest that perhaps you should test the EA considerably longer than a day before you tell me what is right & what is wrong with it.
I am quite happy to have input from any member, but really...after just 1 day I don't think you have seen enough yet to make the comments you have, especially given your own self proclaimed 'Noob' status in an earlier post.

Therefore, seeing you were so forthright in your comments regarding BASA, I would like to return the favour, so please see my response below to the observations you have made...

I would like to direct your attention to the very 1st post in this thread...particularly the part where is says SERIOUS WARNING! Perhaps you didn't read it thoroughly in your eagerness to provide your analysis...in fact I don't think you have read the thread at all, if you had done so you would have understood the strategy better and witnessed the development that has continued over the last 2 1/2 - 3 months

SERIOUS WARNING

Most Forex traders lose all their money.
Using the robot posted here in trading Forex does not guarantee success.
Trading this robot could lead to serious financial loss.
Trading this robot without understanding its underlying trading strategies guarantees traders will lose their money.
This is not a set-and-forget ea; there is no such thing and anyone who tries to claim there is, is either stupid or lying. This ea requires frequent manual intervention.
At best, a trading robot is only 90% as good as the manual strategy it trades. At best. At worst, it can be much less effective. If the strategy is rubbish, so is the robot.
To trade this robot, you have to understand:
How to use EA's. Remember to set IsGlobalPrimeOrECNCriminal to 'true' if your crim insists on two-stage order sending.
Market trend and retracement patterns.
Moving averages; RSI indi; Stochastic indi: Baluda's 10.4 TMA-RSI Slope indi; ATR indi.

And...

FYI, this is not a scalping strategy...and in my experience, the higher the time frame, the bigger the SL required as we are allowing more room for the trade to move over the day, not less as you say, but please test with a 20 pip stop loss and let me know how you go!
Additionally, the EA already has a function built into it to close a trade that becomes a loser from the start...it closes after 2 candles from the open (not a couple of hours into the trade as you suggest) - again if you had read the thread you would have known that! Perhaps you should at least allow the EA to work as it was designed in your early testing rather than jumping to very hasty conclusions!

Really?? This comment alone shows your inexperience and lack of respect for what has been achieved in this thread to date, so I would ask that you please refrain from making such ill judged comments again and test for at least 4 weeks first before you make any further comments here!

And in case anyone is wondering...Yes! I am annoyed!

I have set StopTradingLocalHour to 2...it is my local time (2am) here in Melbourne, Australia GMT whatever it is (+11 I think??) that I want the EA to stop trading and in my case it is Saturday morning, so I also have StopTradingDay set to 6.

You need to set these parameters to YOUR local day & time, not mine, not NY, Not London...just set it to whatever time you want it to stop trading in your house!

Mourad, every word Shelley wrote is accurate. There are a number of exceptionally clever and talented contributors to SHF; Shelley is one of them. Your best interests are served by not annoying members of this group.

You need also to know this: it seriously, seriously pisses me off when someone posts in such a manner that shows they have not bothered to read anything about the subject at hand. Especially when I wrote most of it. And loathe writing the stuff. I am SHF's owner and pay the bills; guess what happens to people who annoy me.

I suggest keeping your head down for a while - and doing some reading.

It's a bit weird, because the errors are not being reported for every trade...5 trades are not producing an error & 4 trades are (# 32851, 45677, 49137 & 50391)

Looking at the EU buy trade, some part of the TP calculation function is producing a TP that is below the market and so not allowed. I will look into this - it is probably LUC inviting his buddies around for a coffee.

Yes, I figured LUC had a hand in it ...at first I thought it was because of the stack trades, but there are 2 single trades getting the error as well
