What do you think is the problem with this? Im using HotForex Demo.

I commented the "Alert" as the error keeps popping out saying "no error"

Lot size to0 low for account. Change lot size to 0.1

this is still looking good using point .1 lots sales 625 dd -71 good ratio im turning it off had problems so im cuting of all indicaters leaving power for ea only on my laptop

looks like so far dd to sales looks good later ill test full lot

think it might do better

So the EA hit the set CashTakeProfit overnight, and it did not open another set of trades. Is this how it is suppose to be? Do I just reset the EA or should I set a higher CashTakeProfit orginally?

Same thing here. Cash $5 yesterday, then did nothing over night.
I removed and added it again and got other 4 trades.

Thanks for the confirmation. We have the exact same experience. Between the 2 of us, we made $10 since my Cash is also $5 yesterday. I like beer money! A few more $5 cashouts, and I may upgrade to some fancy Belgium beer.

I'll go home tonight, and remove and reset the EA at a higher CashTakeProfit to see what happens. And I'll also confirm if it opened more trades since I left my EA running all day without removing the EA.

And thanks Steve for sharing this wonderful toy, and thanks to Brijon for sharing this strategy. I will work hard at understanding what is going on, and most likely, I will just play around manually with the basket since dummies probably learn better by just doing it by hand.

I did remove it a couple times and put it back, got like $30 in total. Then at 11AM my time (19 GMT) took 4 trades and all of them are in DD. I expected somenthimg like this because that is the hour when people in NY comes back from lunch and cash some money so there is a hi chance of trend reversal.

Ok, I think my setup is fine now. Set 10 Pip TP, no SL since 30 Pip SL just get hit too often on news. If there's no news, it's much much more profitable, around 80-90% TP hit. On news however, I removed SL and if only it has hedge in it. It'd survive the news bit and still be profitable. Currently in DD and waiting for counter-trend to be in profit again.

Just few more tweaks and this EA will be perfect. But for now, I'd say this one beats other EAs I have tested.

I'd like to add something about trades approaching supports and resistance levels. I noticed that there were trades taken near it and the prices just bounced off it and reverse which caused the account to go in DD and had to wait for the price to come back to that level again to hopefully be in profit. Now, if the EA does not trade while near those levels, say, within 5 pips of those levels, maybe it can avoid going in DD.

I'm very interested in this EA strategy Im currently testing it on 3 demos, $1, $0.1 and $0.01 lots at Hotforex, Cowboy IBFX and Alpari. $1 lot is currently in profit $400+ but in DD $1,600+ lol which makes it still not in profit at the moment.

I manually "fixed" the DD by adding another order of 0.5 (5 x lot) by taking the first currency from the EA's list. Didn't pay too much attention being on a hosted machine so when I checked back was in good profit so I closed the entire basket.
I may get more time this weekend so I may check the code to see why doesn't open new trades.

That is because there is a call to start() within init(). start() then goes into an endless loop which spots trading opportunities, which fail because the markets are closed.............................

Either remove the call to start() from within init() and recompile, or use the latest update in post 1, which fixes this.
