An idea for a quick and straight forward EA.

My name is Jorge and needless to say I'm very excited to be part of this community. Like the name of the topic says quick and straight forward so I will get right to it. I need help coding a very simple EA, something I've been monitoring for a while now, so if anyone is interested in helping with the cause please let me know.

Hehe. Yes it is, and there are about 500 people here who can knock together an ea in about 50 seconds.

I didnt mean to say its gonna get done in a blink of an eye, but I could never get an EA correctly done cuz I dont know the first thing about coding. I actually came from Forexfactory, where I was subscribed to one of your threads and you actually vouched for me, late 2011 beginning of 2012. But I had to step away from trading for a bit, and when I got back to Miami I noticed you had moved here and I discovered this is a great site. What I would like is an EA with a simple process, open a position, for example buy when a long arrow appears, and close and reverse when a short arrow appears.

I dont mean to waste anybody's time, not why Im here but this is an EA I would greatly appreciate getting coded. Let me know if its not too much trouble and I will post the indicator for the EA.

As I said before Im new to the forum, so I dont know the steps that need to be followed so an idea can actually get coded. I actually answered the question both times, Im using a custom cci indicator, That as I said Im just waiting for someone to give me the green light so I can attach the indicator and I would like the EA to buy when a green arrow appears, and sell when a red arrow appears. No need to be a mind reader, thats the whole mechanism for the EA.

1. Please attach the CCI along with any images to demonstrate the trading logic
2. Opening a position: Green arrow appears - buy, red arrow appears sell
3. Closing a position: ?

That said, honestly it sounds too simple to be consistently profitable, but hey i could be wrong

Hahaha very true Kwanann, attached you will find the indicator. And yes basically it will work like this

Green arrow comes open a long position and close it when a red arrow appears, as soon as the red arrow appears reverse and open a short position. no trailing stop, or TP or SL required.
