Another notable long term news story. Wal-Mart is going to try to use more USA manufactured goods over China imports. How much this impacts China and how much other companies will follow suit will be an interesting story for 2014. Some of you older folks will remember that China-Mart original sales pitch was products made in the USA and WalMart had big growth with that slogan decades ago. About time they got back to it.

[quote="nanningbob"]As I had noted earlier the Chinese export growth had a terrible number. Now is that caused by faulty previous data or was there really a slowdown? Anyway the immediate impact of a slowing of economic data from China is the AUD and NZD go down. From a traders standpoint I would expect AUD and NZD to go down and as the USA drama plays out JPY strengthen despite its monthly bond selling program to depreciate the YEN. So I expect some gaping on the AUD and NZD end when the markets open. If the USA makes a deal this weekend then some huge gaps will come to play. If the USA does not make a deal you will probably see some real jumping around in the markets this week. It could be a very wild ride as investors, businesses, governments, and banks all start to get jumpy.

Dear Bob, this is what Cmeade was talking about. You can clearly see the AUD and NZD both declining since early hours of Friday on the H4 CSS info page even before the China news.
I'm also looking at both D1 and H4 CSS, it seems to me that H4 is a more actual weekly status (kind of a preview or cristal ball for me) of the present strength/weakness of a currency.
I also understand the H4 CSS give us more noise than D1 CSS
Will appreciate your thoughts

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
I once had the 4H CSS and Daily on the info page but I found it too much info. 4H CSS can give you a heads up on a move but I felt it could be greatly affected by a news story on one pair and that would distort the overall view. I feel the info on the 4H charts on each pair gives me the info I need to trade. However, crosses on the 4H can give you a heads up on a move. Anyway, top down trading is the emphasis on this trading system. 240 monthly, 60 weekly, CSS overall strength, go to 4H or 1H and find your best entrance. Let what is happening on the higher end charts influence you on how to trade the lower end charts. I think this gives you the best chance to trade the market successfully. Other tools can help a trader who is experienced in using them.Pipstubborn wrote:nanningbob wrote:As I had noted earlier the Chinese export growth had a terrible number. Thanks Bob, now I clearly understand the philosophy behind this system. You truly are a great mentor!nanningbob wrote:I once had the 4H CSS and Daily on the info page but I found it too much info. 4H CSS can give you a heads up on a move but I felt it could be greatly affected by a news story on one pair and that would distort the overall view. Thanks Bob for constantly making good better.
I use a Stochastic indicator with alerts and the e-mail function to my cell phone.
I have enclosed it if someone wants it.

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
I noticed the 1H green/red bar is showing green/red when it really shouldn't be. The STO filter part does not seem to be consistently working. it only should show if sto is below 20 or greater than 80. If someone could check on it that would be nice.

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
hello everyone, I'm a new user from Italy and one year I have been interested in forex.
I found this very interesting trading system and an interesting community.
I downloaded and applied the version 10.6, with the purpose of learning to use this system in real.
Some things cause me a little uncomfortable and I ask you some explanations.
Right now I have light green / olive green with price above all the averages in both TF, only the stoch is not over 80, correct?
I'm really interested in learning to bottom.
Thanks and regards

You need to post a chart because we have no idea what you are referring to.cono1977 wrote:hello everyone, I'm a new user from Italy and one year I have been interested in forex.
