Hi Bob and everyone else!

I'm writing this post to ask for a little help from you, as Bob uses to say the peak movement on some market is about half time session. The help I'd like to ask is to identify when those half time sessions happens on the 24 trading markets. Is EURJPY a London time or Asian time? Or both?

This trading method is by far the most comprehensive one I've ever seen, it gives me amazing pips on trending periods mas it is in the ranging areas that I get more hits, and this should be improved by closing those trades that go on green, but honestly this is still a little difficult for me to identify...

But we are here for the marathon and not for the 100 mts, so it is a matter of time to master these things.

I noticed the 1H green/red bar is showing green/red when it really shouldn't be. The STO filter part does not seem to be consistently working. it only should show if sto is below 20 or greater than 80. If someone could check on it that would be nice.

Can you try the one attached, I removed some of the unused stuff (gradient colors etc...), boxes will update more frequently. Also added a "no signal" color : this will show a dotted rectangle with no background, let me know if there's anything else you would like to be added.

There was actually 2 issues in the code and you identified it correctly in the

and you corrected one term to Mode_Main; however you left in stoPrice as a variable.

stoPrice is seen as Price_Close in the indicator which evaluates to an int 0. The allowed parameters for that field is 0 or 1. However 0 evaluates to Low/High and 1 evaluates to Close/Close.

I understand that Bob uses Close/Close in his Stoc setting so you should be using a 1.

People often get Mode and Price settings incorrect when using them in certain situations. The compiler won't pick them up as they are all Int values and so it compiles. It works correctly some times but that is mainly luck.

I did send a PM to the originator on friday but he has not read it yet. I did also send a PM to Bob as well as a corrected indy to do with as he pleases.

In your case just change the stoPrice variable to an actual 1 and it will work fine.

I also screwed the H1 rules, that will teach me to be confident in my code on a monday evening

I've corrected everything (I hope so...) anyone using this version (delete the one I posted earlier, it was bad), wait for Bob to review it before taking decisions based on it

Bob, with the added H1 filter, once both dummy lights give a green/green, should we still take it as a signal to place a BUYSTOP order above the DP or 00 level; or place an immediate BUY order? Or is it just a matter to look and check to see which way is better? Many thanks

That is not the issue 10.6 is a test version and is not complete. Still working on getting out the bugs. It will make it when it is ready.

Be that as it may, being a test version should not be the qualifying condition whether to open a new thread or not.

Check the facts of the matter; all the focus is on 10.6, it is being traded by many, there is no mention of 10.4 in the last xx pages, and worst of all, there is no direct link to the indicators & templates used by 10.6. Yes, there is a page number but depending on your settings, but it can be very hard to find; also, there are additional indicators scattered in various posts since Page whatever it is.

Anyhow, that is just my humble opinion, doesn't seem logical to me, must be frustrating for anyone new to come along and search for information, that's my rant over, back to regular scheduled broadcast.

If and when we get the indy right green/green and red/red will indicate probably best setup in the 10.6 system. After that olive/green and goldenrod/red will give setups in range areas. green/olive and red/goldenrod will give setups but you will need to use discretion with those. Black will mean no set up at this time.

It is a test and getting the exact settings will take a while. I like to see an indy work live before giving it the full go. Remember this is all because of playing around with an indi that changed the background color on a screen. All of a sudden we have a new indie. Funny how those things work out.

My wife and I will be going to Thailand for 5 days. I will leave Friday and get back on Wednesday. I dont know how much of the market I will follow during this time. Bob, I hope you and the Mrs. enjoy the adventure. Looks like a deal will be struck in the next couple of days in Washington to hopefully give the markets some clear cut direction. A sad state of affairs is the U.S. government. Got some 10-20 pip winners off of the AUD & NZD pairs yesterday. Could have had a lot more as 9 pairs ran for close to 1000 pips from the DP but present market conditions convinced me they would NOT run. Such is the life of a trader......
