Thanks for introducing TCO to the NB system - it's great to be able to catch trades that so often used to get away from me while I wasn't watching! I tend to spot a setup forming and then load the EA - when I'm more confident in its behaviour I might give it more freedom.

In using it, I've noticed your MA settings are different to the NB ones. NB uses a 60 and 240 on H4 (10 and 40 on the daily) and the NB ones are linear whereas you're using exponentional. I'm not trying to pick fault, it clearly works as it is, I'm just interested as to the reason behind the differences. Have you found your settings to be better, what's the problem with the NB ones etc?

Just trying to learn from your experience,

Thanks
Ah, you caught me on that one, almost, here is my 4 Hour chart which I have not yet posted, I am watching this to see if the EA will trigger soon, will post the 1 Hour chart if it does.

Anyway, you can see there is the 60 / 240 combination on here, which aligns mostly with my Daily chart, concept is still to trade with the TREND with pull back entry.

Many pips to all :)

Allrighty then, got a NZD/CAD trade going, not going very good yet but what to expect on Monday, some profit taking I think, overall some draw down with my open trades but less then 0.5% which is great.

There are 12 open trades, so looks like potential 12% loss or 24% gain or somewhere in between 8-)

If I want to use a different setting on several pairs, do I have to allocate a unique magic number to each pair?

Cheers,
From looking at the TCO code, assigning a single magic number for multiple symbols will suffice. Both symbol and magic number are used to modify a trade. Test on demo to make sure.

If you are running any other EA besides TCO on the same account, assign a unique magic number, so TP, SL, JS, BE control are not in conflict.

Hi Snowman,

Your EDSEL charts are very neat and clear. I have tried to copy them but failed!!! Any chance of posting a template, please?

Cheers,

I have no problem doing that, but I can't be answering endless questions about why I have this indicator here & why that one there; yes, some (most) are not to do with NB, figure out what you want, what works for YOU

All indicators + template zipped except for 2 MA, settings are as per pictures if you want them

Also, the TCO EA is not in the template, I have a plain template and an EA template; you can add it, apply your settings, save your own EA template

This is advanced, if you don't know what is EA, Google & go to Youtube school

Question, someone who understands the codes of the EA will know me answer.
The stochastic from the confirmation when the line crosses the line established (10,20, etc.) from low to high for a buy transaction and from top to bottom for a sell transaction?

Yes, if I understand the question right.

0 means NO confirmation, that is, as soon as the value is 10 / 20 or 80 / 90 the trade is triggered

1 means YES confirmation, value must go higher or lower than set line, then cross back to trigger trade

Whoa, some drawdown tonight, going to bed, will check in the AM, come on USA session

Hi Corno that is exactly what the Ea is set up to do :) Remember you could have set it to take a trade without confirmation and it would have been better in this instance. But nothing stops price to drop a good many pips before turning. Confirmation is always better I say.

As it stands now price has dropped even further from there that is why I prefer confirmation off the 4 Hr stochastics so for me no trade triggered as yet.

Price is currently sitting on the 4 hr 60 Lwma as snowman has pointed out earlier for an entry that he was looking at. For me a bounce off this area would be a valid entry.
