I've just remembered that it was Steve that was going to run the H1 demo, my H4 on GP only opened a EURUSD long yesterday.

H4...GBPJPY, USDCHF, GBPCAD, GBPUSD, EURCAD, EURUSD - Cowboy Cowboy Go Markets Live account, same trades on GP live account.
Yes I've now got some of those trades (I don't trade all pairs), got them later because I live in the other hemisphere!
Trades today on EURUSD, GBPCAD and AUDCAD, all trades at BE with half closure, stack trades open on EURUSD and AUDCAD, currently open profits about 230 pips. I'm now going to let it loose live.

2f on the demo coped seamlessly with part-close, breakeven and a stack trade, so I have put it onto my live accounts. As part of the process, I looked at the stack trailing stop function and noticed a mistake. This is fixed in 2g in post 1.

Those of you running 2f on demo and able to make the change for yourselves go to Scite line 2689:
if (Bid - LinePrice > (StackTrailingStop * OpenTrades) / factor)

and replace it with
if (Bid - LinePrice > (StackTrailingStop / factor) )

then F5 to recompile.

BASA is now officially the best bot I have written. The combination of Bob, Shelly, other contributors who have chipped in with great ideas and those expert pro-programmers who have made my code so accurate and safe to use have combined to make something that appears unstoppable.

:D

Well Good Morning...lots of green pips to be had overnight, BASA had a blast, although I did have 1 loss - NZDUSD hit it's SL by the barest margin before belting back into what would have been at least a break even trade ;) but the winners far outweighed that 1 loss all on my Cowboy Go Markets live account.
My GP live account didn't suffer any losses (there's that broker feed difference again) and has all trades locked in at break even at least.

I'm glad you have the stack trailing stop function worked out and thank you so much for your ongoing efforts to improve the coding and the bot...I am very confident having it on my live account (although I do monitor it regularly) and there has been the occasional loss, but it's virtually impossible to get it right every time...but we are certainly getting it right MOST of the time

We've had some great contributions from our fellow members here, that now all put together has produced (to date) a very robust bot...thank you one and all :D

Well done plateman...not sure where you live has made the difference, more like different brokers...it doesn't matter though, green pips are green pips

Hi Shelley,

My basket TP BASA are also doing well. There was round about 3 trades that closed by itself without SL in the red. But not a problem. Running v2a. Will load the newest during the day and set it up with BASket TP.

We are all nicely in the black if we have been trading BASA this week, courtesy of the US news yesterday.

Most interesting is that the most profit so far has been on the H1 demo I started on Sunday night. GP $2000 starting balance trading 0.02 lots and half-close and BE +2 at +30. Up over 2% so far.

Early days with the H1, but worth experimenting with.

All setting are OOTB except TP & SL are set to 0. Using Steve's MPTM with a 1% basket setting. Just moved it to 1.5%.

Those of you with breakeven and part-close will be getting the 'invalid ticket' errors after a part-close.

Ignore them for now; it is just an order-of-events thingy. BASA checks for breakeven then part-close. When the part-close is successful, the trade is closed then the platform sends a new trade of the appropriate lot size, with a new ticket number; it looks as though part pf the original has been closed.

I bit further down, BASA checks to see if the part-close is necessary because an earlier attempt failed. It thinks it is still dealing with the original trade and so attempts the part-close again, which fails because there is no open trade with the original ticket number.

I will add an extra variable to prevent this, either later or tomorrow.

This long eurcad 4hr has been executed very well since Oct. 21, and it is only 70 pips shy of TP 300pips...amazing EA!
