Re: MPTM's new home
Just one thing - this is not a request to add anything
When I use the EA for a single pair, it seems to work Ok (display remains steady on chart), however when I use it for a basket (and selecting the basket options etc), the EA keeps displaying on and off on the chart! This is something I also notice with the MPBM EA. The only difference between the single pairs chart and the basket chart is that the basket chart is an off-line chart. Does the EA not work properly on off-line charts? Many thanks

Re: MPTM's new home
Hope I can get a little help with a conundrum I have.
I'd like to have a few different stop losses set by MPTM and am doing the following:
I have one instance of MPTM set at break-even 10 pips, 0 profit
2nd MPTM at set at break-even 25 pips, 5 profit
3rd MPTM set break-even 31 pips, 15 profit.
My problem however is that the 2nd and third MPTM do not adjust the stops. I thought this would be the easiest way to acheive the above, if not could you please help me to correct my settings to allow the above.

Re: MPTM's new home
Johnny - MPTM has a check in it when setting BE that the SL is less than the open price (for a buy & vice versa for sell). This is why it won't move the SL for the 2nd and 3rd MPTM.johnnyabardi wrote:Hope I can get a little help with a conundrum I have.

I don't really have a solution for you except perhaps to have a play with MPTM using the BE and jumping stop feature. I can't remember exactly how it works but I don't think you will be able to replicate what you want exactly but you could have BE @ 10 pips, 0 profit & 10 pip jumping stop (not including BE pips) - this will give you something similar I think but you need to test it.
BTW - having BE @ 10 pips and 0 profit seems an unusual setup. You will get stopped out many times and lose the spread every time.
Cheers,
Dave.

Just an idea: Variables "UseSlAtr" and "UsePtAtr" require variable "UseBreakEvenAtr".

MULTI PURPOSE TRADE MANAGER
Hi, I've a question : I use since a lot time the useful MULTI PURPOSE TRADE MANAGER (thank to Steve) , until now I've never used with hedging. I'm trying just now but the question is that Multi is with breakeven and trailing set on. I'd like to use hedging just to close a bad trade without loss or profit so p.e. if a trade is losing 25 pips with hedgin set on 200% at -50 of trade the loss & profit must be 0 . the problem is that Multi use the same breakeven setting and trail of the original trade and so often the hedge is closed before the reaching the right value (25) . I set also to close the trades at breakeven (in hedging setting) but nothing change. Where is the problem? I hope you understand my bad english. Thank you to all

Re: MPTM's new home
Hi,
I have a question about MPTM, i want to set BE to 2 value, may sound strange but i want to do it and wonder if its possible on this EA. So i want to set BE=150pips and BE Secure=90pips, this would mean when i hit 150pips it secure down 90pips of those 150, is this possible in this EA and if it is how ?

Thanks Steve for another great tool. I have one question though. I am setting up per PDF and when Partial close is enabled I can not find the preserve lots setting anywhere. I am setting up per your first example in the guide. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
