I did not have time to post yesterday, just let the EA work away on DEMO, didn't start out very good but after NFP there is 8 full take profit hit with account now up 10%

im confused why the need for equity sentry, the EA itself has the option to close basket after x amount of equity reached, no? currently i have my main demo to close at 3%, also using 1 ATR tp, i guess its whichever comes first to close off the trade?

Not meaning to muddy this thread. I just wanted to try equity sentry out because it can globally turn off EA(s) on all the charts, after global TP/SL is reached. Useful for using with other "roguish" EAs, not that I see TCO as being "roguish" so far. Also lets you control via magic number and change TP/SL from one point just like MPTM. Lets you TP/SL via equity, pips, dollars as well.

the setfile was posted a few pages back. if you read through subsequent pages you will also see the changes / tweaks to the settings. good luck, this has been performing well on my demo so far

After running the EA though I get error on certain pairs, and was wondering if someone else has got the same errors at all. I've attached a shot of log file for reference.

I already did, but you should have some fun, play with it yourself!

Also, many trades were closed & not sure why, so I don't trust it fully yet.

I do have the Breakeven set for no loss after 50 pips but that didn't apply to some trade exit.

I had multiple trades mysteriously close yesterday and today.....Did not hit SL or TP and was not up enough to close out on profit percentage either???????? Not smart enough to figure out the reason....
Hope some of the big brains in this "Brain Trust" can ....Lots of talent here!!!!

This happened to me yesterday & I changed % Total loss fro 2% to 5%. No problem today with trades closing on Aus Dollar spike.

Hi all,

I've got a testing VPS setup and have 2 platforms spare, 1 x Global Prime and 1 x Vantage FX
Could those who know possibly give me (and others) a hand setting this up please?
Could you please tell us:
- NB 10.6 version to use and .set file
- TCO version to use (assuming 1.5) and .set file
- Any additional Indi's needed and settings
