Hi Taipan, did you change MA EA settings from 240 (4H) to 960 (1H) or left it by default?

Thanks of the update...I have CSS filter ON, so I haven't got any trades yet.

BASA closed three trades today witch didn't hit sl, no idea why. broker is Cowboy IBFX au, tf h4.

The only thing I can see is that you are using CSS - I am not sure how this works exactly as I don't use it but it may well close the trades if certain conditions are met e.g. strengths converging/difference less than a certain value etc - probably best to check the user guide.

Also, although not related, you have the EA using an ATR based SL (so do I) but you have ATRPeriod set to 240. This is the number of bars of AtrTimeFrame (240), so H4 bars, to work out the ATR for the AtrTimeFrame. I am not sure if 240 was a mistake or you weren't sure what it did exactly but a normal AtrPeriod would be something like 14. This might chew a bit of processor but probably not a big deal.
