There is a provision in the EA to close a trade if two candles immediately following the trade go against it. On my chart, the EA opened a GBPCAD long trade early this morning. The two candles following were both down candles. The EA closed the trade at the close of the most recent candle (1 pm EST). That would be my supposition as to why your trades closed. Post a chart of the trades.

I did think that was funny

BUT...I have the gbpcad trade on both my Go & GP live accounts and I'm still in on both, as I should be. The rule is that the candle where the trade was taken and the next candle should both be against the trade to close.

On both these charts, the trade opening candle was down, then next candle was up so rule is invalid.


EDIT: looking at RXCape's chart...the rule was applied correctly there, so once again as we have said many times over...different broker feeds, different results

Thanks of the update...I have CSS filter ON, so I haven't got any trades yet.

Not really sure how CSS works in BASA, I haven't used it myself...please keep us up to date with how it's trading

BASA closed three trades today witch didn't hit sl, no idea why. broker is Cowboy Cowboy IBFX au, tf h4.
Attached the set-file. Any suggestions?

It's quite likely that the trades were closed due to the rule as described by Tom above...

Welcome to the BASA thread...it's probably a good idea to read back over the thread, so you understand the evolution of the EA, but also Steve has put together a comprehensive user guide for BASA that I'm sure you will find beneficial as well. Post 1 has a lot of info too!

It's not really a good idea to throw an EA (any EA not just BASA) on a chart, have a couple of losing trades and say 'it dun't work' (in Steve parlance ) without taking the time to learn how it's 'supposed' to work first.

thank you for your welcome.
I'm reading for a week or so right now, but since english is not my first language some things are sometimes hard to understand : :
I don't say it don't work because it worked fine for me last week, but I had some of this closing trades and didn't understand why. So I asked.
I think I got it now
